Fantastic half so far. Great football and clinical finishing. Everytime we go forward we frighten the Altrincham defence. Best half of the season so far.

Well Beautz said at Eastleigh that the team would gel and how right is he turning out to be? All especially pleasing with the home-grown talent looking sharper from their loans last season. A terrific run of form for the lads ahead of the Darts match on Tuesday.

You can't beat a bit of Welly!

Safe home to the 33 travelling.

A fantastic performance by the team. Played so well and could have scored at least 7 or 8. Well done to the boys, great workrate, and we are getting better every week.

Having had a somewhat clinical hatchet job after Halifax about those players present not being good enough to play the way Day wants against teams of this standard, it is only fair to acknowledge that the manager has tweaked the personnel as necessary.

This in turn has produced a much sounder defence which is also benefitting from the knowledge that conceding one goal is not now terminal and a genuine threat at the other end. We aren't there yet and we certainly aren't going to trouble the top half any time soon but we look good enough to be well placed in the mini league at the bottom. And that will be perfectly acceptable given the budget and the turnover of players in the summer.

Thanks, DM. Sorry, but "Significant" meant a fifth booking giving a little comfort to Dartford on Tuesday.

Jamal definitely got a yellow card after the fourth goal.  There was a minor altercation as the players ran back to the half way line, and the referee "booked" him indicating it was after a combination of earlier fouls.

It might be my eyesight but I thought it was Zach (Fagan) who was earlier warned by the referee - and that might have been the reason he was subbed.

For the best highlights coverage I recommend subscribing to Wings TV who to date have covered every Wings match home and away.  16 minutes of highlights are now on line via the official site.

However you are lucky this time if you don't wish to subscribe as Alty TV have posted 10 minutes of highlights on You Tube.
