If it helps, I was put off by the price. £6 would probably be about right for the main course, but way too expensive for a starter or dessert.

Im sure Lisa would have been happy to have that feedback prior , over 300 views and not a single comment til it gets cancelled

I'm sure the food would have been excellent. However, if I don't fancy the offer, I do not have to give any feedback if I don't want to, no matter how many times I view the thread. Lisa is a business woman and has put forward an offer, I'm sure it's not the first time she would have had a 'knock back'. It's not personal, it's just the way it is. Is it possible that having no feedback is in itself a form of communication? The great thing about people in business is that if they try something and it doesn't succeed, they won't be put off by it, they will look to try something different and try again.

It's a shame there is not a take up on this. What a great idea. If I had been watching in the bar this would have been ideal.

With the colder weather coming I think a nice casserole or stew might be a good pre-match meal. Simple food at a reasonable price and I think it could catch on.

Agreed.  I will be booking a pre-match meal on Saturday if I like what is on the menu.

Probably, but I didn't want to clutter the "reply" thread with my negative input. Would just have confused the issue. Happy to give feedback, as I stated in my previous post, "if it helps".

as Trigger says why would people respond if they don't want the meal?

I'm not sure what time I will get to the bar tomorrow so couldn't commit but if I had known for sure I would have got the food and confirmed on here.

Good morning everyone,

Firstly i would like to thank you for all of your feedback on this and any other post i have submitted so far. I have been at the club for almost two seasons now and have tried multiple different catering options to give the fans a better catering service. I will continue to do this and raise the standards of the food supplied at Welling. I have a real passion for my business and the club in fact!

Some things will work, some wont, that is the nature of my job. I will find the right balance eventually. First and foremost, i want to supply the demand for all of you, however without feedback and CONSTRUCTIVE criticism, i am working hard in vain. So i would ask all of you if you have the time, comment and help me build the service that we all want at Welling, this is after all, a local community club and in my opinion if we all work together we can achieve this.

I will put forward my ideas and hopefully with feedback, i can get an idea of what it is people would like to see at the club. It only takes a few minutes to post your thoughts....i was under the impression this is what the forum was for.

You can email me on info@completely-catering.co.uk at any time and i will get back to you as soon as possible.

Many thanks,

Your totally devoted caterer.

Maybe with live games on in the Wings Bar - sharing platters, nachos, chicken wings etc. Easy things to eat at the high tables/standing areas.

Plenty of pubs do this and most of the stuff can be kept if not sold on the day.

Thank you, that is an excellent idea. Do you think people would prefer this to a hot meal?

I second that, providing the price is right of course.

is actually a really good idea

after a few drinks the munchies normally set in and I would be more than happy to buy platters for the table that a few people can tuck into

Great idea. Not sure about the logistics but pre-match platters would be great too.

Kids platters too? Fish fingers, nuggets, chips? Would be an incentive to bring the kids for their lunch too! Family platters?

This could go on and on :o)
