I'm hoping Day can get a 'siege mentality' going amongst the lads after this latest shafting by the FA. Hopefully after our decent performance on the tv we can attract a few supporters down from the PL and Championship club's who don't have a game this weekend. This team deserve our support as the effort and general quality of play has greatly improved from the start of the season.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh When the Wingssssss
I think we're sometimes guilty of posting a lot on here when things go badly, and not so often when things go well. Today was certainly the latter, so here's my thoughts...
There were a few standout performers but for me the best of the lot was Tyrone Marsh. Nuneaton's number 29 will be having nightmares about him tonight. He doesn't offer the same physicality as Roscoe did, but he's similar in the way he works across the width of the pitch and attacks space. Looks confident and runs his socks off.
Harry, terrific as usual. Please though, keep quiet until February, maybe just with assists rather than goals? There's bound to be interest in the transfer window, and if he does end up leaving I just hope it's for more than a measly £4k. On the face of it he seems to be enjoying things here, so let's hope he'll be at PVR for a good while yet.
Other notable mentions go to Barney and Ben Jefford (I didn't realise he's only just turned 20) who provided good attacking width, Malachi for having the presence of mind to tee up Marsh superbly (despite Harry screaming for it - I dread to think how Jeff Stelling would have reacted to a hat-trick), and Jamal Fyfield for putting Wednesday behind him with a solid performance and almost getting on the scoresheet at the right end.
Several comments on the Kiddy forum said the same. If we play the way we have over the last two games and not the way we did against Fartford then we will be moving on up. No problem.
I loved today we really did play some gr8 football and I pray harry stays with us past january window.Credit where credit is due Jefford has been playing well as of late and looks very promising indeed so my earlier comments I apologise for. COYW
A really good performance apart from a poor goal conceded. Thought Ben Jefford was outstanding and can still improve. Looks of discontent among some early in the season and I said then give him time to adjust. Well done Ben.
We have such a promising group of players and pleased to see Tyrone finding the net with regularity now and Harry has been outstanding all season.
Really enjoyed watching us yesterday and looking forward to seeing Tom's excellent highlights.
Keep it going boys
Outstanding display by the Wings yesterday. Some of the best passing moves would have resulted in two goals towards the end - ruled out by debatable offside decisions. My concern is that we lose Harry in the January transfer window for peanuts and that Tyrone Marsh is recalled by Oxford United.
Not sure how Fyfield got motm although he has played well in the last few games.
Surely with two awards on Saturday one could have gone to Beautyman and the other to Marsh?! The former continuing his exceptional form of this season and the latter has improved massively since he scored his first goal against Lincoln. A good performance all round from a very young team especially with resources so stretched by injury and suspension. Still feel the front three need to interact more and pass the ball (especially when we have an extra man) rather than overdo the tricks. On Saturday, when we got it down and played, we cut through them time after time before they were a man light and the move for the fourth goal was typical of this. I realise we have a young team, and they are going to make mistakes, but we will need to be more clinical as the manager has alluded to a few times this season.
Just hope/pray we can keep both of Saturday's scorers beyond January....
Personally I would have chosen Marsh, I think he's getting better every game he plays. I do however feel Fyfield had a very good game, especially when you consider he's had 8 stitches in his head!
