Pay ****ing money to travel about watching that ****!!! And not cant even acknowledge fans...someone needs to tell him what the club is about! 100 agree if you try and your **** i don't mind, when you don't even look like your trying then you can do one.
I felt somewhat sorry for the three/four that busted their balls as usual. It's not like Gallagher/Beautyman are MOTM every week, but the one thing you get from both is complete and utter commitment and running themselves into the ground, as well as chasing lost causes and putting their bodies on the line.
Some, and I won't name names (mainly as it is so obvious it isn't needed), haven't done it once this season let alone every week.
In Jamie we trust. The injuries and suspensions are a worry though.
A club 2 leagues below but one that gets big attendances, a bigger playing budget and will be in the Conference South next season. Always going to be tricky, Saying that, we weren't our best today and there were a few players who didn't play as well as they should. There were many people slagging off players and getting personal with insults and that's something i can't condone and really doesn't help the cause. However, half the team walked straight off the pitch and didn't recognise the fans, I can understand you're frustrated and disappointed that you've lost, but acknowledge the fans who've come to watch you play.
Onwards and upwards and onto Barnet next week!

Could not agree more. We certainly was not at our best, strangely disjointed with a lack of vision and dare I say commitment. Although the ref did not help, we can have no problems about the result. Not sure about the pitch, it must give the home side some advantage but that is no excuse for our performance. Although, i admit to utilising a seat( and being away from the main body of fans) the team must realise that supporters spend much money home and away to support them and it is sad to see some players (at least four today) walk off without any acknowledgement to the fans.

In three words I can sum up everything i've learnt in life; it goes on.
1st game my mum has come to with me and my son as she is local to maidstone she loved our club and she loved our passion in the stands 2nd half and joined in with all the songs. It's just a shame some of our players didn't have the same passion would of been a gr8 little money earner if we got into fa cup proper :(. I accept things were always going to be tough as a new gk and new cb making debuts in such a big game is always risky in my eyes but why a 6 foot 5 inch cb didn't at least jump and try win header for there 1st goal is beyond me. Anyways always gr8 to see the wings and lets hope we put a better performance in vs barnet or that could get messy COYW.

Don't disagree, but if someone isn't putting a shift in I think it is equally wrong to not do/say something about it. Otherwise poor performances, poor attitudes, and poor results will follow more regularly.
Praise where praise is due, but criticism is not banned. As long as its sensible and in moderation then I don't see why saying someone isn't good enough/trying hard enough/we have better options on the bench is wrong.
Glass half full or half empty? I'd go half full. But 90% empty and 10% full? It's empty. Face it.
Let's not bury our heads in the sand. We're all Welling supporters but we're not lemmings.
Hence the title of the post. Harsh, but a reality.

In the long term the lads that didn't put a shift in today will be the ones that come off worst if they don't improve immediately as they'll be out of a job (well in football at least). If they can't be bothered at this level they might as well quit.
It's a shame as we've seen glimpses of what they can do but they need to show consistency if they want to make the most of the opportunity that Jamie has given them to use this club as a springboard to the Football League.
