Embarrassing performance, not from all, but from most.
Embarrassing lack of commitment, again not from all, but from most.
Embarrassing lack of discipline from most.
Some of them have had enough chances. Time for changes.
And to those that the first three sentences apply to. Pull your fingers out and sort it. I'm not buying all this "he's young" ****, you are all adults, stamping on people, not trying hard, answering back to officials. Unacceptable. Not wanting to do it for yourselves, your teammates and the supporters that follow you, shame on you.

Hudson needs to start...best player on the pitch again and he was only on for 15mins!!!!
Agreed that Hudson did well in his short time on the pitch but, when he has started, he hasn't influenced the game at all so still might be better as an impact player in my opinion.
Can't really fault the keeper last night and I felt very sorry for Penny who ran his wotsits off all night after very little football. I won't fault most of them for effort with one glaring exception....
Now I am the first to realise that not all Welling players are superstars and we have had some very average players over the years. However what those average players lacked in ability they more than made up for in effort and commitment week in, week out (and commitment doesn't mean making stupid tackles and getting red cards either...) However when players offer neither a semblance of skill or effort then I am afraid they are fair game to get moaned at.
When I think of the players that have worn the Number 10 shirt for Welling over the years (Bartley, Robbins, Pugh, Lafayette etc...etc...) it makes me weep to see the current incumbent that has somehow "earned" that shirt. I have never seen a striker spend so much time outside the penalty area when the team is attacking - even the manager had to tell him at least twice in the second half that I heard to get himself in the box. As I have said not all players are blessed with great ability - if they do then they will probably move on to bigger and better things. If they don't then is it really too much to expect a modicum of effort....??
Agree with Wingnut about Penny. Was thrown in really when ideal comeback would have been last 20 of a home game like Nuneaton where it was won. Worked hard for little reward.
Concerning that we caused them no problems until Malachi came off the bench and then really unsettled them but agree that when he starts it often doesn't happen for him.

Another rant over....for now!
All I will say at this point is John Farley. Could be worth getting him in for a five minute chat just to say what he got out of what he was prepared to put in.
