Just a Reminder That TOMORROW is THE BEER FEST, Patsy and I are just finishing off some last minute things at the mo hence the late post.
Tomorrow we have 10 Real ales some more obscure than others plus 2 Ciders from Somerset.
During the day there will be raffles at various times with 20+ Prizes from Breweries and We also managed to get Something From a Detroit Brewery in the USA Who supply the Wings (Detroit Red Wings) with beer.
Whilst all this is going on Patsy will be running her food bar with Rolls, Pies, Pasties and Chili con Carne.
Its been a difficult ride this year but we feel it will be one of our best ones so far.
Just before I end this post Patsy and I would like to thank all the people who have helped this year and our volunteers who will be working tomorrow not to mention all the companies associated with Welling United FC for sponsoring barrels and wanting to be in our Beer Fest programme.
SOOOOO
Hope to see as many of you as we can tomorrow.
Cheers
PATSY n SY
ps......Don't Forget it's being held in the Erith And Belvedere Club House

Congratulations to everyone involved in organising the 4th Welling United Beer Festival held at the Park View Road ground yesterday. I witnessed many volunteers given up their time to make this event a massive success, and it was very pleasing to hear so many kind comments at the end of the day from so many people expressing how enjoyable their day had been.
Well done to you all, you certainly know how to present a Beer Festival in a unique way that makes your one so special. Thank you.
Now that I've sobered up, I would just like to say thank you to everyone involved in putting on a great beer festival. As is common knowledge, real ale is best suited to those with a shortage of taste buds. Whereas the prince of all drinks, lager, is best appreciated by those of us with a more delicate palate. Knowing that my sence of taste could be ruined for life, I entered into the spirit of things and swopped my little green ticket for a glass of the flat stuff. With the night drawing to a close and having sampled all but one of the drinks I made my way home. Thank god for my neighbour who carried me back. With my taste buds now temporarily out of action, I wonder how long it will be for I will be able to appreciate a cool golden pint of the proper stuff. Once again, thanks to everyone involved.
