A very bold statement from Daisy on Kent Online claiming we're playing better football than last season! Am sorry but I just don't see that. Plucky football maybe. Last season we had Lafayette and Franks at the Club still together with one or two others of that ilk. Agree it fell away a bit at the end when safety was assured.
We have a go at PVR though we're a bit lacking going forward. As for the football it's good at times but there's plenty of long ball too.
We all love Daisy but I find the claim worthy of comment. Perhaps he's trying to keep spirits up which is commendable. Rest of interview makes good sense.
Relatively speaking he is probably right. The squad isn't as good but we are still a match for most teams in the league but we have been having no luck and are losing games
There needs to be a balance between good football and too much football...The standard from us has been on a par with last season in my opinion despite having a weaker squad. I haven't seen anyone at PVR look head and shoulders above us although Barnet, Gateshead and Woking played some nice stuff at times.
Very strange, our football last season was delicious sometimes. Been far from it this year - a few bright sparks here and there but definitely lacking by comparison
