"Last Saturday, Welling United visited Bristol Rovers. Seven days later, a quirk of the Conference scheduling sees the fixture reversed."
Does anyone know why this is allowed to happen, it would take a lot of research but I always understood that Premiership and football league fixtures are reversed 'en bloc', for example all fixtures scheduled for one particular weekend, then the same combination of fixtures are all reversed some weeks/months later? Not so in the Conference. Playing the same opposition on two consecutive Saturdays (other than the traditional Xmas/New Year local reverses) seems very much like an og scored by the Conference administrators?
