I truly hope we make a good appointment in the near future. And I have confidence in the short term appointment(s) we've made. But I equally hope we realise we're in a predominantly full time league and an experienced manager and coach is needed. Or someone exceptional if new to the role. 

Getting a press release on the official site with an email for applications to a hotmail address doesnt fill me with confidence. Or make our club look anything other than a joke. Again.

Public adverts don't always get the best candidates.

Charlton Athletic advertised their managers vacancy (after Alan Curbishley left) in The Times, and they ended up with Iain Dowie....

I don't have a problem with the club employing a manager with no experience. However, their assistant or first team coach needs to have plenty.

Agreed. A whole team of newbies could cause problems. Anyone new to any job will take time to learn the ropes, and we don't have that time.
