The new last man standing competition starts on the 17th January. This ran for 4 weeks last year with the winner taking home £610! WUSA and a youth football side also receive 25% each so provides great funds for all involved.
Rules
1. Pick any team to win from 40 odd games in the top four divisions 2. If your team selected draw or lose you are out, if your team selected win you are through to the next week. 3. The following week again pick any team to win from 40 odd games but you cannot pick the same team twice. 4. Competition continues until there is one person left to collect the winnings. 5. £10 one off fee to enter. You can enter as many times as you wish but each entry cost is £10 6. First week I need your predictions by kick off time. 7. The following week all predictions must be received by 12 noon on the Friday. That allows me to advise everyone Friday afternoon of all predictions so no cheating can take place !! 8. All money collected is split as follow : 50 percent to the winner (last winner won £610 !!) / 25 percent to Darent River FC Under 15s to pay for them to enter a tournament in Amsterdam in May / 25 percent Welling United Supporters Association
The more people that enter then the greater the prize, for info please email louis.robinson@hsbc.com
Thanks
Dean

Sounds a good risk if you know anything about football, so that rules me out then!! Yes, I am interested in joining and am happy to support grass roots football, but can I ask what the connection is between Darent River fc and the mighty Wings? I have had a quick look at their website, much is well out of date and I see no mention of Welling fc...something for the Target 1000 team to explore?
Hi all, my youngest son Sean who attends most Welling games with me plays for Darent River FC and I started Last Man Standing as a way to raise money for the team. I have been running this for a few years now and have raised around £5 grand for the boys football team. Gavin asked me to run a Last Man Standing for WUSA and as I had already established this for the boys football team I asked WUSA if they were ok to share the money raised with Darent River FC which WUSA agreed to.
The best one I have run was when we had 200 people enter so we raised £1,000 for Darent River FC and £1,000 for the winner !! The last one saw the winner get £610 so please share with as many people as possible as the more who enter the bigger the prize.
Chris, for the first week predictions can be given up to 2.30 pm on the Saturday. Predictions can be either emailed to me or given to Gavin in the bar . The following week the deadline changes to Friday noon. On Saturday 17th January I am unfortunately working away so Gavin will be collecting money and predictions. Please share with as many friends as possible as the more who enter the greater the prize money and the more money raised for WUSA
Don't forget this starts next Saturday, if you want to be in we need entries on Friday, we will take last minute entries on Saturday, but don't want to do loads of these.
They are sent round on email by lou each week. Each week you pick a new team and it continues until one team is left and that person wins. Results won't be put on here. Contact lou rob by the email above if you've entered to be put on the mailing list.

All, a very big thank you to the 152 people who participated in Last Man Standing. This means there will be a prize of £760 for the winner with £380 going to my son Sean's Sunday team Darent River under 15s with £380 going to WUSA .
Everyone should have received an email update from me today. If not please PM me
Can believe I'm out, two stonewall selections you would think, I had man City to win and Chelsea to win, in theory these should have been give me's had they taken them seriously!
