They made loads in the FA cup and spent none, not sure if their board want to stay up or not. I always thought if they made a move for Daisy they would have got him, they probably should have done that a year ago.
Tonight's result will be hard to bounce back from, especially as they have Dover to come who are really hard working and organised and confident. Really cannot see the Darts getting out of this. Maybe we can send a team there in pre season to help them out next season.

Obviously they were doomed last year and nearly escaped, then got a reprieve, but its even worse this year. Miles from safety and losing home games on a regular basis, even against sides not finishing with XI. Unless they sack the manager (unlikely, many seem to have Wenger syndrome), or get several new players in asap, they won't get out of it.

Had a look on their forum last night (don't worry I showered afterwards) and they seem resigned to relegation.
If they are that bad, how is it that we donated four points to their cause? Incidentally, the Dartford midfielder, Noble, who always seems to be the cause of most of our grief, was involved yet again in an incident where an opponent was sent off for retaliation.
On the assumption you need 50 points to stay up they need another 27 points from 17 games.
That's 9 wins/8 losses from 17 games. Or 8 wins and 3 draws and just 6 defeats. I can't see them winning more than they lose from now until the end of the season, which is the only way they will stay up. They must win more than they lose. Impossible on the form of the last three months.
were down, we know it. Problem is there is a tony burnam love in at dfc. How many managers with his record survive. Someone said it, we should of gone for jd a year ago. Its all very cosy in the tony burnam fan club in the boardroom at dfc as they said and quote "if we go down we go down" they dont care as long as Tb is there. Maybe some advice from welling how to manage on a low budget as that's what our fans excuses are, never the manager and his hoofball. Anyway I bet this cheered you all up.

Certainly did squire - ta very much!
I have to admit to a slight smirk, but we have some work to do to put distance between us and the relegation zone - a task not made any easier by the loss of our leading goalscorers. In my opinion, Dartford has always been our main rival and matches against the Darts are always keenly anticipated and well-attended so, in that respect, I will be sorry if they do go down (again). However, I was livid when they nicked Andy Pugh. (I wonder whether Daisy will come calling for him when AP recovers?) And there is the rub, the threat to both the Wings and the Darts comes from the big money clubs such as Ebbsfleet, Margate, Bromley, Maidstone and, to a lesser extent in geographical terms, Dover.

Wash your mouth out Bertie!!
As regards Andy Pugh - cracking player as he was his injury record of the last few seasons has been terrible and I don't see any club touching him until he gets three or four months continuous football under his belt.
Never be sorry if Dirtford go down, one its Dirtford and two, remember the diabolical c**** tricks they pulled for the play off final. Karma if they go down. Theyve also allegedly tried to sign one of our players after Jamie went.

Assuming we stay up, I have to agree with Bertie that I hope Dartford stay up too. I also hope that Ebbsfleet and Bromley take the two promotion places in Conference South. I say this purely for financial reasons. It is looking increasingly likely that next season's Conference will include Hartlepool and Barrow as well as Gateshead and the revenue from these local games is needed to counter the costs of these very long trips. If Bristol Rovers and Barnet end up being promoted there will be few clubs left who will bring substantial numbers to PVR next season unless we have the derby games. Sometimes the head has to overrule the heart.

Don't worry, I will never forget the play-off final!
