According to my iPhone the weather in Gateshead on Saturday is sunny with temperatures ranging from 2°-5°. There's a bit of rain on Friday but no reason for the pitch to be waterlogged of frozen come Saturday.

3-4° with 30% chance of rain...

If they can't play tomorrow night due to a 'waterlogged pitch' then the FA need to have a word with them (again!).

I have just received a phone call from a friend of mine who is at the Gateshead Football Club ground and he said it was bitterly cold, and sleet was falling, but no decision has been made yet on the game going ahead tonight.
