After the FA uphold Jakes red against Chester i've had a look at some of the inconsistent and harsh treatment we've been getting.
After the Halifax game, where there are terrible tackles on us unpunished, Then Bristol Rovers where Sinclair goes through Jamal and not even a yellow then Jake gets sent off for getting the ball...
We have the Chester game
Welling are 1-0 up and Chester do this tackle. Now given the phrase "Wreckless and lunge its somewhat surprising that this didn't even get us a free kick when Gallagher is getting sent off for less this season is it not?
Never mind at least they will be consistent, good one.. fast forward, its 1-1 and Welling make THIS tackle, Again getting the ball again the oppo player gets caught up in the tackle, like their one on Reece Harris... This time, straight red and the FA do not overturn appeal. I understand the ref used the word lunge in his report
Tackles by Halifax, Bristol Rovers, I liked the Southport one, when Brodie went in late and headed Turners ribs, Turner gets sent off for a stamp, Brodie gets nothing... Fagan gets stamped on in a game and NOTHING and THIS STUNNER by Dartford all don't even get a booking but we get straight reds for no worse and less? Jake also got an extra game for refusing to leave the pitch in this game, Whats the Dartford subbed player doing here? Nothing happened to him... Note the 4th official walking back off the pitch before the red card as the ref called him on as he never saw anything.
I did like the Bristol Rovers tackles where clearly their one is worse than ours, the same ref sent off two of ours at Southport
Oh i say calm down old chap or i shall have to book you....
Off you go Welling player....
Conclusion, its us and them, time after time after time, we get punished and games change after oppo teams have done the same or worse and don;t even get booked. How can you come to any other conclusion?
Then you have the numerous times we've been fined off DVDs and TV, but we've seen horrific tackles by oppo and officials manhandled and surrounded and never had a request for a DVD or seen them fined.
Its getting a joke now in my opinion.

Here we go. Send it in to the league and the FA officially, via the club. Make a formal complaint. Grass some of these other clubs up. If we can get done by TV why shouldn't they. Otherwise, forget other teams and focus on what we can control, our club. We need to change, albeit unfairly, or we're ****ed. No point going down saying you play pretty football, same applies to hard luck stories.
Club will not appeal or complain and i agree with them, its no use, What i would do is wait till end of the season do a big video showing us and them and have a meeting with the conference and FA to show the inconsistency. re card, fines and misconducts where we get done and other get no punishment.
We don't and never have grassed other clubs (to the league or FA) and i agree with that too, we need the refs, especially the assessors who report these to the FA ... and FA to be fair, Not much to ask for at this level.

Ok, so if it is no use then lets put it to one side. I bloody agree with you, but the bastards aren't for changing so we must. Yes, it is unfair, but needs must in our current position.
Siege Mentality. Would be good if they got a bit of a rough ride from the terraces, and NOBODY has mentioned swearing at them. Maybe they need marking down too and backing up with evidence. IF they want to ruin the club then ruin them too.

I don't think there is a conspiracy of them and us but I do accept the video evidence show inconsistency with decisions however I think the answer is more simple than that - the assistant referee's need to man up and support the referee's more - how many times have we seen a foul, handball etc in front of them and no flag or they look across to the ref and then raise a flag.
If you took video evidence to the FA based on them and us they would through it out -
However if you asked the referee's association and /or the league if they would like an independent training video put together based on the importance of consistency as a referee and even asked them what they would like see and it went along the lines of asking what would you do in this instance and what do you think was given and point out similar situations from the same game. then you are more likely to take notice and might get something changed.
As a independent film maker you can also thank WUFC for their support in the project and point out that you followed a team over a season to try a put across what fans view of inconstancy if your target audience is the league you should also interview visiting fans and ask them what they generally think of the standard of refereeing at this level at there home games if across the country similar things are being said changes may happen.
Also if you do develop a referee training type video I have contacts with Referee co-ordinators in both the LFA and Kent FA and would be happy to pass it on to them for their thoughts.
Look the videos are slightly inconclusive, the Bristol Rovers tackle isn't as bad as being made out as he actually pulls out the challenge before he gets there.
Ultimately they all seem reckless and needless tackles to make, I wouldn't defend out challenges by saying they there are worse out there, I would urge our players to stay on their feet because when you take into account the areas the tackles they are made.
Most of the tackles shown are outlawed in the game now

so if we get relegated its the referees fault???? the standard of refereeing in this league is diabolical, but i reckon this happens in every game in this league!!! weve had bad decisions when weve win but no one has mentioned that!!! let it go
All the online whinging will do is result in gloating from rival supporters.

If you think the FA is going to pay one iota of sh*tsworth attention to anything on there...
If they really gave a toss referees would have been told to man up years ago. Instead we get these pathetic attempts at 'respect'. The first person to respect the ref should be the ref himself; constantly walking backwards defers advantage and control of the situation to the player(s). Stand your ground and if the player walks into you: red card.
The Chester tackles (them and us) don't really seem much different. With inconsistent refs you might expect one a foul, the other not or maybe one a yellow, the other not but to give a red just makes the ref a puppet for players and supporters.
We've been consistently on the wrong end of unfair treatment from the ref's, I think the reputation of our previous red/yellows makes a difference as does the opposition getting in the ref's face.
Our only option now is to act like choir boys on the pitch, putting us at an unfair advantage.
Referees at this level are extremely poor, sometimes baffling to the extreme. Big teams in this league clearly get the major and even small decisions most of the time. The standard of officials you're seeing every week is abysmal but believe me its the same everywhere and every ground at this level.
Not trying to pi** anyone off or be controversial on your forum but even though decisions clearly go against you you should try and have a more balanced view of the welling challenges. Why does Gallagher always need to tackle with one foot and bring the other one round on his opponent? We have had our share of individuals with disciplinary problems and we have let them know they ate letting their colleagues down players and supporters. Trust me the refs are poor everywhere in the conference.
I regret that unless a referee is guilty of something calculable, such as number of players on the pitch or issuing two yellow cards to the same player, then the refs word is sacrosanct, and any appeal related to non-fairness to the 'ref's protection committee' or the FA, would be struck out with a tap of the delete key.
