Jeffery gets a yellow for kicking the ball away, their player does the same 2 minutes later...no card. 2nd yellow was very soft.

He didn't kick the ball away for the 2nd yellow. Just the first which is still not acceptable, the 2nd yellow was very soft. Loving all these people who are criticising that are not at the game and therefore have not seen anything.

Blaming it on refs is embarrassing I agree. I don't think we've had a fair crack, but all the same, not looking at our own faults will be our downfall.

And I don't think just because people aren't there doesn't mean they can't be critical. I didn't witness Hitler's crimes but I think I'm pretty safe in saying he was in the wrong, similarly, I don't think any Welling fan needs to have been to every game this season to work out our disciplinary record is a joke.

They are a team in form & we are not. Surely not a surprising result if it stays this way.

I dont need to be at the game to see the facts that once again we have a man sent off and have given away a penalty!!! Whats wrong is all we do is blame refs like it does not happen to anyone else and its pure embarrassing to hear it every week.

No need to swear, even if you use stars. Plenty of other words you can use instead...

Was a great performance. Superb effort by the lads, very harshly done by for the red card. Even down to 10 men we were in control. I have never really complained about the red cards this season but today was a shocking decision. Stop getting on their backs and you may have seen other games but today was different. Not totally the ref's fault and I'm not saying he was the reason we lost BUT it should never have been a 2nd yellow. Onwards and upwards, plenty of positives to take forward.

great effort from the lads today but weather a yellow or not lack of disclipline will hurt u by making silly decisions. Vose is different gravy and one win is all that's needed....

those not there please watch how u slate players as it's unfair n affects confidence

But....when will that game come?.......alfreton now catching us!!!......need it real soon.....Aldershot could be the one....if for whatever reason...ref or ourselves we can keep 11 on the pitch and stop the penalties....its killing us!!

All through this season Ive watched home games. I cannot say Ive seen us play one game where we were over physical or a dirty team. I cannot say weve gone around showing dissent or arguing with the ref to any great extent. I cannot understand the level of Red and Yellow cards awarded to our players. Its not about moaning about refs. But what are we doing thats any worse than other teams.

Aldershot is next week. They are on a bad run too se we really need to end the match with 11 players on the pitch and pick up 3 points.

As much as people moan. It's obvious from today there are positives yes. Luck will return. Then we'll get our rewards.

Good to see a bit of fight from the lads, although Darren Purse is becoming a liability.

As someone else said, we shouldn't be blaming refs but the exceptionally high numbers of yellows and reds we're getting is highly suspicious and implies that the powers that be simply don't want us in this league. One for the conspiracy theorists.

Today we played very well. Dominic Vose different class, Jason Williams took his goal very well. A couple of silly errors at times which didn't help but you will get that with any player at this level. All very frustrating as we deserved a least a point and were in charge even when we were down to 10.

Very frustrating but you just sense that if we get one win, more will follow. One thing that's guaranteed is that the players ran their backsides off and they are certainly up for a fight.

I know it's tough, but keep the faith.

It's time to turn this debate round. If you are one who think's we are harshly treated by refs and that is our main problem, given we are not good enough to win games with 10 men in this league, it is now time for you to tell the rest of us how we do what is within our control to get the points necessary to avoid relegation.

In 20 years time someone looking at the final league table doesn't see 21st relegated (by refs) or 19th survived (by refs), they just see relegated or survived...

My moan early on in this post is due to frustration. I can see the promise within the team - and we really are not as bad as the league table & form guide makes us out to be.
There are other teams much worse than us this year.
As said - it good to see the effort from the lads, and yes we need a bit of luck, a few points, an own goal, etc to get us going again.

Will finish up with - COYW.

Disappointment is temporary - Supporting your home team is forever!

Aldershot next week is crucial. Keep the positives. Lose the negatives. We win. Simple.

You start off well then talk the absolute nonsense that will get us relegated. People talk about not slagging off players because of the effect it has on them till they are red in the face, well here is a harsh reality....Feeling sorry for ourselves about referee decisions will spread through the club quicker than aids in africa. I'm glad to hear the lads gave a good effort today, but keep telling them good effort lads but don't worry it was the refs fault we lost is only going to send us in one direction!

Now i like JB he seems to know his stuff, but i think he is naive in interviews, if he makes excuses for losing then there is no solution on how to win end of. Biggest mistake and at first i thought he was joking was saying that JG's tackle last week was not even a foul!! It just sets a bad example before we even start.

Its not a booking the second yellow, hes hardly touched him, they are running back and Jeffrey puts a light hand on him for a second then pulls it away. and there were loads of bodies between the player and our goal, They thought it was nothing as they tried to take a quick free kick until some of their players went to the ref to say send him off, he also  let them kick the ball away 3 or 4 times at free kicks and never did a thing yet he books us the only time we do it then sends off someone for the softest second yellow you will see apart from Noubles at Wrexham this season.

We were still the undoing of ourselves today, 2-1 up. The ref seemed to give Macclesfield nothing for the first 15 mins, crowd got on his back and then they got a lot of decisions, kicked the ball away lots of times , left the pitch after scoring and no bookings.

They amount of fouls on us when we were attacking and the ref did nothing shows he was inconsistent and harsh on us. We shot ourselves in the foot though we still should have got a result. Henly hasn't been worked, but their 3rd goal was class and probably the difference.

Bush ****ed up for their second equaliser but he was also unlucky, the ball spun in the box after his clearance was blocked and he somehow let Barnes Homer get infront of him, Gutting.

Need to beat Aldershot on Saturday and we owe them one for last season there when we were winning 1-0 when the ref sent off Blane Hudson and we lost to late goals.

Jeffrey looks lively and Vose if he had stayed on would have been man of the match. Macclesfield play the ref like Wrexham, they go down under any contact, Once they dived and the ref said get up, no booking... if that had of been us he would have been carded simple.

We threw it away even with ten but the ref never helped and listened to their moaners in the stand too much.

Forget consistency with the refs, they will see our record and it's in the back of their minds before they even walk on the pitch.  And the opposition will play on it as we saw last week against Chester.

We have to give the team credit for taking the lead twice and also not see this one as just 'another red card'. two yellows, one dodgy, is not the same as a lunge, elbow, mouthing the red etc.

I make it 19 goals conceded since new manager arrived and 1 point (correct me if im wrong)...whats the shortest time we have hadca manger? Southport and Alftreton win their games in hand an we are in bottom four.....and i thought kevin hales was our worst manager

Look at what Jody had in squad numbers when he joined and the fact his first four games he had no real preparation. Comparing him to other managers is totally unfair at this stage especially when he is buildIng a team with some good signings of late. Kevin hales? You forgetting Neil Smith?
