From the Shots website...............Saturday afternoons referee is Nigel Lugg from Surrey, who took charge of the Shots 2-1 home defeat against AFC Telford United last month, as well as the 1-1 draw at Dartford in October 2014. So far this season, hes refereed eleven Conference games, showing 49 yellow cards and four red cards.

Yep, he has never been shy in flashing a card. The only thing I would say is that he doesn't normally favour one side.

Really? He normally gives us nothing. Maybe he hated Jamie Day as he sent him off from the Dugout already this season for Ebbsfleet. He is in the notebook as being harsh to us hopefully tomorrow we see a consistent performance with both teams treated the same, thats all we ask for. I used to think he was decent but lately he has never done us many favours.

Wasn't he the referee who sent off the two Telford players at PVR on the opening day of the season?

Yes, he has had the pleasure of officiating at this game and our 0-4 reverse at Dover on Boxing Day.  3 red cards, though to be honest he had little choice - the two Telford ones were 2 yellows each and Benji Buchel took out the Dover player when he was set to score.

I have no problem the appointment and my memories of Nigel Lugg are as a fair, consistent albeit strict referee.

So, yes, be careful.
