The decline has been very sad. Initially I put it down to a couple of individual errors and a goalkeeper who could not command his area, especially the high balls...but now think it goes deeper. It will be a minor miracle if we recover from this.

Not going to say to much because I wasn't there, but seriously bad result again for us. There's no chance he'll be sacked before the end of the season. But if we do get relegated I don't want him in charge next season

Unacceptable, worst performance I've ever witnessed...and Anthony Jeffery, if you don't want to be at this club or challenge for the ball when we are losing 1-0 then plain and simple for you..**** off. Barney, Fyfield and reece Harris. .keep your heads up and look around who is letting you down.

One of the worries I had when we got promoted was that people would let their imaginations run away with them, and that appears to have happened.

We are a very small part-time club in a full-time league. We have the smallest budget in the league by a country mile, with some clubs getting attendances ten times are own. Every win we've obtained in this league has been the equivalent of a giant killing.

We were lucky last season as when we were promoted we kept the main core of the squad who had already gelled. Over the summer we lost quite a few of our key players. Even though the run under Jamie wasn't fantastic we rode our luck with what few wins we got, with the cracks clearly beginning to show, and to be honest I believe Jamie knew we were going to struggle in the second half of the season. Jody's come in with barely 11 fit players to muster together, and relying heavily on youth loans and semi-retired players. If anyone thinks that someone else is going to come in, with no playing budget, and do a better job then you need your head testing.

We're still outside the relegation zone, and looking at the drubbing Southport got today it looks like survival is still in our hands. It's a tough job for the lads but nobody has massively outplayed us and given us a massive 4-0 or 5-0 mullering. It's mostly been by just the odd goal. Quite a few of which were down to stupid individual errors, not the whole team or Jody. If we can stay positive and get a result against Altrincham then that puts us back on course. For the rest of March we've got Gateshead and Lincoln who already haven't got much to play for having already achieved survival but being quite a way off the play-offs. Barnet and Grimsby will be tough, however we may be lucky and they face us with an over-confident sub-concious. April we've got four sides either with nothing to play for or resting key players for play-offs, then we've got two successive six pointers against Alfreton or Southport. By the time we face them, one or both of them may have already been relegated.

We've got to treat this like a cup run now. The lads have got the capability, we just need to stay positive and get behind them.

Keep the faith.

I just don't think the club will sack him before the end of the season Kevin. I think he should be sacked though. Way out of his depth and he wasn't excatly doing great at grays anyway

We're no smaller than Nunaton so that doesn't wash today. They wanted it. We didn't.

wings i hear what your saying, but any team full or part time needs a leader to inspire and cajole them on to better things! it also needs players that will work their nuts off and die for the cause. do we have either??? and thats not a dig at the players that have been here all season.

Prior to Christmas we had a threadbare average team that needed so help. That team got 1 point from 12 under this regime. Instead we got major surgery and a team that has got 0 from 15 with the management having ample time to work with them. As people's livelihoods are at stake I am not normally one for rush judgements but it is indisputable in this case that we can't do worse (unless we get points deducted!).

Time to roll the dice with someone else.

Nuneaton have had near 1,000 or 1,000 plus attendances all season with nearly 1,700+ for the Bristol Rovers game. That's triple the gates we get so they're finances and resources are significantly better than ours.

I will be astonished if he is still in charge come the next game....

I've not slagged off any player for a while but Anthony Jeffery...... with the club losing 1-0, don't pull out of a 50/50 ball. The Nuneaton player wanted it more than you. Then when someone has a go at you, turning round and showing us the finger and throwing your arms around is not acceptable. If you're not going to put 100% in then please go now.

Time for a change....

Anytime we've had a vacancy for a new manager we've had over 30 applicants. We've never had any money so that won't prevent a decent or alternative choice.

I appreciate there's 100 or so fans making the long journey back but the negative posting is not going to do us any favours. We've lost 1-0 not 4-0.

I repeat, we're still outside the relegation zone and it's still in our hands.

Put this result behind us and move onto the Altrincham game. The lads have got to capability to get a win. Let's get behind them and stay positive.

The number of applicants doesn't mean anything. There's nothing to stop everyone on this forum applying for the manager's job under the misbelief we can sign and pay players with Monopoly money.

Well you don't stay up with over-exaggerated negativity. Anyone would think we were nailed to bottom of the table and losing 4-0 every week.

Taking off Vose (again) is crazy, bringing in back room staff 2 months into the job is crazy turning players like Fyfield and Barney into long ball merchants is crazy. No wins, no fight and no belief is also crazy.  Wingstilidie - join the club.

Precisely because we are fortunate enough to still be 5th bottom it needs to be done. His decision has been he wants to do it largely with HIS team. Well sorry if you don't like it but I can stay positive until I'm pushing up daisies but if he cannot send out HIS team to be positive against a team who have been manifestly worse than us over 34 games regardless of  budget then please tell me what other standard I am to judge by. For a club our size, it is not that you lose that is the important thing, it is how you lose  and by any standard this is not good enough.

Needs to be a change if we want to survive in this league but we are very small fish in a very big pond and financial we are out of our depth and that is not the managers fault

Please wtid give up, it was the worst performance ever, totally inept and no way back after that. I'd you would like to see that carry on I suggest going to watch Jody browns next club.

Not pull out n give the finger to fans (if I read that right) and it's not in our hands any more we have ganes in hand against us

Sorry but if I had a penny every time someone said "It was the worst performance ever" I'd have to enough money to buy the Barcelona Squad to shut all the moaners up.

After today's game everybody is calling for Mr Brown's ( and his management teams) head, but would we not have to honour their contracts. Do we have enough put aside to do this and employ someone else?

Exactly. We do not have the money to sack Jody and we do not have the money to bring in new players. If come the end of the season the form has stayed the same then Jody probably will be gone along with a large chunk of the squad, a couple who may be struggling to get a contract anywhere at all if they don't improve.

This negativity will not do anyone other than the team's below us any favours.

The lads, including Jody, are the ones with the most to lose come the end of the season. The players have got to get ther heads down, train hard and stay focused and positive for the Altrincham game which we CAN win. We've got to play our part and stick with them.
