Terrible uninspiring tosh....sorry but that is my view!!!

Motivation is not a strong point here!!

I really cannot see how any player would be raring to go and win after hearing that!!!

Too many excuses too often......answering that he is an educated football man after being asked about crowds reaction...mmmm meaning what?

Faz is off for 5 weeks let him (or Gavin!!) have a go

I hope the players show a better reaction than the manager. Effectively having a go at the fans and defending a pathetic quitters performance won't go down well.

"I've never struggled with self belief" - well that's obvious enough from that interview. Turning on the fans now as well

No mention of Jeffreys gesture at the fans? Defensive and a bit aggressive tone, loves himself and well out of depth. Talking about Glenn's experience is all well and good but that don't make him a good assistant

Desire cost us a goal but desire didn't cost us today, perfect sense

Ok Jody, I dont need to "watch the game back" Because I was there, and to make quality players at this level (barney, fyfield) look ordinary, you must be a very educated football person.

I wouldn't want to watch it back. It was bad enough first time.

Having watched that interview, the kindest thing I can say is that it's 13 minutes of my life I'll never get back.

Apparently being an 'educated football man' ain't working chap. An interesting debate as to whether a 'fan' would have yielded less........

I'm not sure whether that's a blind or deluded statement about Jeffrey, what chances??? Cross winds..that's a new one, and I don't have to be educated in football to realise how **** that was today.

We're picking the right team and the right tactics, doing the right things in training. And look at our record. God forbid this educated football man gets something wrong, then WTID's 5-0 nightmares will come true.

Well if the club sack Jody, and we don't lose by more than one goal against Altrincham then I'll eat my hat.

this bloke should be arrested for impersonating a football manager. his level should be under 8s in an academy somewhere. no one surely still backs this man to turn it around??

I still don't get the Vose explanation.  If he took him off because he wasn't playing well then most of the team should have been subbed.

The difference with Vose is that he has a bit more to his game and can produce something a bit special out of the blue (as he did at Aldershot).

What constitutes 'educated football man'? Coaching badges meaning you know the difference between 4-4-2 and 4-3-3 and how to put cones out?

Do these 'education in football' courses include man management and motivation?

I may not be 'football educated' but am aware that a manager needs the players and supporters behind him to achieve anything. Criticising all and sundry in public is not likely to achieve that.

Before he goes maybe he should be made to sack a player for showing disrespect to Welling Supporters if nothing happens we will become a laughing stock

I dread to think the sort of position we'd be in if we had an uneducated football man at the helm.

The bit that gets my goat is that if you tweak and add to the team we had you retain the goodwill of the vast majority given there were no guarantees we would stay up anyway. If you make the decision for wholesale change that is fine too as long as  it works. If however you do make that decision and it is not working out the only way you retain the goodwill is to stand up, say why you made the decision and admit it isn't working out. That is the bit I don't see and that chiefly is why patience has been lost.

I have lost faith in Jody his interviews are so boring, always goes on and on about the situation he inherited.
He has tried to do major surgery to a side that only needed two new midfield players, two new forwards and maybe one defender.
Failed to sort out a permanent goalkeeper in the window and has left us without a back up goalkeeper on the bench and one whose loan runs out in March. Was very evasive when asked at the meeting about the goalkeeper situation. Seems to be badly out of his depth and not much of a man manager.
Cannot understand why Charlie and Malachi were sent out on loan, Sam Corne is dropped permanently and new faces added all the time seemingly without a plan in place.
Insulting supporters who have spent their hard earned cash and time, me included is the final straw. Will not be attending again unless Mr Brown and his mates are gone!!

In the NLP statistics are shots on goal, Nuneaton 14 Welling 7. Says it all. When are we going to start shooting at goal, instead of trying to walk it in? I was at Nuneaton, I saw that display, wont be travelling again until an improvement.
