whilst its extremely sad for a young footballer to have his season ended like this, after reading a lot of comments on here over the last week reference his commitment, workrate and attitude in last weeks game, the chances are that louis might not have played him anyway!!! if we are gonna get out of this gonna need 110% from everybody

What we did not know at the time was that he broke his ankle in that game and played on through the pain. It was only when he turned it again in training, and was sent to hospital for a scan, that the full extent of the injury was known.
I had a chat with Anthony on Saturday - smashing lad. People criticised him for pulling out of a challenge at Nuneaton - small wonder he did considering he could have been playing in tremendous pain.

Teaches us a valuable lesson to think before throwing criticisms as we are not privy to the full story of what happens behind the scenes. Hence why we have to continue backing the lads through thick and thin.
Whilst I get the chance, I wanted to say well done to everyone making the long trip up to Gateshead this evening.
