Maybe someone Faz and Co know through their training camps....?? We had a chap from there a couple of seasons ago called Lafayette who turned out to be alright....(we also had Gorman who was less successful)

To be frank the bloke we had playing as a loan "striker" in the second half at Barnet doesn't exactly fill me with hope that he could save us from relegation...

Our loan strikers seem ok, but the lone one had a tough challenge. Seriously, this new bloke sounds fast and he is over 6ft tall and would seem to add a bit of physical strength.

As you're talking strikers do you mean Paul Gorman (thought he was Charlton rather than Ryman)? Whilst there can be little doubt Paul Gorman was less successful than Lafayette he did have one very good goal scoring year before breaking his leg badly!

I was referring to Charlie Gorman who I believe attended the Faz bootcamp and was a less successful recruit than Lafayette for example. We took a punt on both (presumably on feedback from Faz) - one proved to be very successful, one not so.

I did wonder which Gorman you meant and see the link with Ross now. Charlie was definitely a punt that didn't work out!

I see the great man (Lafayette) has re-signed on loan!!
