if he had stayed in the summer like he promised Day then we probably wouldn't be in this mess in the first place
I've said before that I think the club were incredibly naive in announcing him staying before he'd signed on the dotted line.
He's a guy in his late 20s who had always expressed his desire to play league football, and that was most likely his last chance. It seems it hasn't worked out, but at that stage in his career I can't believe anyone can begrudge him taking that opportunity. We wouldn't relish letting somebody down when we'd given them our word but I think most people, if being honest, would have done the same thing.

Spot on!
Last time we played Grimsby at PVR we won 1-0 with a late goal from a certain Mr Lafayette - a repeat on Saturday would be most welcome!
For a chuckle, this from Luton's website, spot the mistakes!
"The 27-year-old forward joined the Hatters from the Wings in the summer, and returns to Park View Lane to help Jamie Days side stave off relegation from the Conference they lie six points from safety with seven matches to play and host promotion-chasing Grimsby on Saturday."
Never mind Luton, this is great news. Rossco should be hungry as he has had a long injury lay-off, and only 4 starts this season with a few sub appearances.
Seems appropriate for this weekend as it seems one by one, Jamie's team are returning and the clocks are changing too? If only Wings clock could go back to mid-December.
