So i've had 3 potential names but all will only travel if we are in with a shout of staying up. While I appreciate that many won't want to travel if we are already relegated, this coach needs to be paid for in advance so we can't have people who will then pull out of travelling if we are relegated pre Alfreton.
If that is the case for most then the coach won't run. We need to book this by the 9th April so please let me know asap.

Well deadline day has been reached for a decision on this and it is interesting that it has not been said that the coach will not run. Have the coach company been persuaded to extend the deadline? Two home wins Saturday and Tuesday would no doubt provoke numerous bookings next week if the coach is still a possible goer.
I've only had 12 names so far (no deposits either) and with the number of people in the past that have pulled out of the coach at short notice makes this a risk. As we are risking a number of people not turning up on the day causing WUSA a big loss. I do understand people not wanting to travel if we have no chance of staying up, but equally, it's very difficult to organise a coach in these circumstances.
2 wins in the next 2 games would provoke interest, but we have been let down by people not turning up before and this makes it risky. If we do get a win Saturday and Alfreton lose then we will re-assess.

Polo and WUSA have a thankless task in trying to organise coaches to away games - especially when you consider that some people did not turn up for the coach that was heavily subsidised by David Weir.
Bearing in mind that the club paid for a FREE Coach last season , Is it not an option that WUSA could do a similar gesture for this game
Not sure how the bank balance looks but surely would be a great attraction for people to be part of WUSA
Just my opinion so don't shoot me down
I don't think anyone would shoot you down for that opinion, the club did something great last year by running the free coach, frustratingly it had just over 30 people on a free coach, Dave Weir subsidised the Nuneaton coach and we booked 43 for a crucial game. I think its worth a discussion to look at subsidising this tomorrow with other WUSA committee folk and see what is in the bank. But we still need people to come forward, a lot will hinge on the coach numbers at 4.45 tomorrow I expect.
