Knowing our luck probably the goal scorer? Joking aside we were poor that day and I don't think that the ineligible player would have made a difference to our team if he played or not.
That could still be a big influence on our season even if we end up occupying the final relegation spot. We would be the first team to be saved when the usual glut of end if season teams going bust happens!😀

Well last year Dartford had the fortune of two teams going bust.
However this season Kidderminster have been the only team with financial issues, albeit not sufficient that they would be kicked out the league at such short notice that we would reinstated.
The only other possibility is that there are further surprise points deductions from teams just above us.

Don't forget Lincoln the co-op bank wants £380k from them
Lincoln were given ten weeks to pay in March so when that deadline comes the season will be over by a few weeks.
Lincoln have got assets they can sell to part or fully cover the debt. Even if they fail to cover the debt, no action will be taken against them till next season.
The debt bubble will increasingly start popping for a lot of ex-league clubs doing a Hereford.
Football is an expendable part of the economy now, like other sporting sectors. Look at the rate cricket clubs are folding. Banks and other creditors have run out of patience.
Even if we get relegated, as long as we keep balancing the books, the way so many conference and conference South sides are surviving on massively unsustainable debt, we'll be conference mainstayers by default after watching everyone else collapse one by one over the next ten years or so.
