Great result considering we played most the match with 10 men! Would've actually preferred a Southport victory as it would've meant they'll have had nothing to play for next week.
Cracking battling point. Would have snapped somebody's hand off for this position before the Kidderminster home game, and again at 1-0 down and ten men after 18 minutes today.
Well after 15 mins I thought the penalty, Red card curse had done for us yet again. I should of had more faith. Faz has got a team spirit going again. Down to 10 men away from home. probably go on the back foot. No! give it a go and try for the win. So near. Well done to everyone concerned. I love Bristol Rovers by the way.
Will also now be hoping Gateshead can get at early goal at Barnet next week. Don't really want to hear that Barnet are 3-0 up by half time as that won't be great for Bristol Rovers' motivation.
Very good point considering we were down to ten men.
Glad I bit my tongue after the red card. What was everyone's view of the handball?
Well done to everyone that made the long trip up to Alfreton. Hopefully having the large away crowd behind the team made the positive difference that got us the point. Let's hope we can get as many people as possible down to Park View Road next week.
Let's also hope Bristol Rovers don't treat Alfreton with complacency, as Alfreton will be playing for their lives.

My assessment of today would be that we started really poorly, whether it was the occasion I don't know but we couldn't string 2 passes together. The penalty was a penalty from where I was standing but I was too far away to see whether the red card was merited. It looked like he fell on the ball but the ref undoubtedly had a better view. The equaliser galvanised us and we were far better in the second half. To play most of the game with 10 men and to have two excellent chances to win the game was a tribute to the shift put in by the whole team. Overall I thought we deserved the win against a limited Alfreton team. Superb support as well - it seemed nearer 200 than 100 but I could be talking rubbish. I'm sure we will stay up if we play like we di in the second half next week.
