Becoming Championship winners recently was great; staying in the League is even better, especially when you consider the size and quality of who did go down. Time now at least to reflect and celebrate.
Yes, couldn't agree more...and looking at Eastleigh, making the play-offs and with a 4K crowd, anything IS possible given the right attitude and approach.

Size and quality of who went down? They were all lesser quality as they finished below us, and I don't see any of them giants ... Alfreton, Nuneaton, Telford and D*rtford are small clubs by Conference standards, as are we.
It is indeed time to celebrate of course, and start work immediately on ensuring there isn't a nervous end to next season, and take advantage of the current good feeling and atmosphere to get people on board for next year.

I was thinking as much off the pitch than on it, Kevin. Without reopening the debate in it, at least two clubs have council-owned facilities (Telford's inclues a hotel on-site). It wasn't that long ago that this league - our league - said goodbye to Stockport County.
Do agree with your last point. It's been great to see and hear new faces at Welling this season and I hope that the upturn in attendances towards the end of this season can carry over into next.
4,000 at Eastleigh? The same Eastleigh who used to get 1,500 against us in the conference south when it looked 700.
You'll be telling me next there was only 1,015 at PVR yesterday.
The bloke who gives Eastleigh's crowd must be pi$$ed every week and seeing at least treble - they are desperately trying to make themselves look a big club (and failing miserably) They also give out loads of freebie season tickets who get counted in the attendance no matter what. I wonder how may of those 4,000 will make it to Grimsby for their play off game this week.......
As for the PVR "attendance" I think those last three figures are in the wrong order (at least)

it always seems that there are more people there than the official attendance but I can only guess that they don't count the free tickets that are given out or we just have one of those grounds where people can spread out enough but it still looks like there are lots there....
