Very quiet on the player front! No announcement of retained list? Must be a retained list (am sure deadline must have passed) for compensation purposes (under 24) then up to the players whether they sign or not.
Doesn't look like McAuley, Sweeney, or Crawford are re-signing at Dirtford. Might be worth a look if not beyond our budget. Rory McAuley (centre half) in particular depending who we have lined up there. Sweeney's good at set pieces.
I believe that all the players under 24 who they wanted to keep have been offered deals for next season. Players may be listening to offers from other clubs first or be on holiday. Would be good to get a few signed up and announced soon though, as that may influence others into putting pen to paper.

Barney and Sam on two year contracts is a brilliant move. Looking forward to seeing them again next year! Plus hopefully some added security that if 'bigger' teams come sniffing around they will have to pay something worthwhile. Obviously not wanting to get in the way of a league offer but we have some more bargaining power at least!

Agreed, excellent news. The two year contracts means that we don't have to worry about them being swiped from us for next to nothing.
I'd be very surprised if Buchel doesn't get snapped up at a higher level, especially given he is an international, although I'd love to have him back yes.

Three 'giant' signings, exactly what we need going forward. Great to see them commit for a lengthy term. Well done the management team for threatening them with a Chinese burn if they did not put pen to paper. On a much more important note, I have committed my undefined loyal support for another season...... unless someone comes in with a better offer of course.
