Been linked with league clubs last year and had trials at Bolton, Norwich and Crystal Palace. Looks like a good signing! Welcome to the club

This looks like a lad with bags of potential and can hopefully take the step up in his stride.

Dulwich have a very good record of progression with their young players so let's hope this is another one off their production line.

Perhaps he can have a word with his ex team mate Michael Chambers and get him on board at PVR as well....

He has a very unusual style about him. Everything looks a bit rushed and unpredictable, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. He certainly doesn't lack confidence judging by some of those long range efforts. Looks like an exciting signing, welcome to the club Xavier.

Edit: Quote from the Dulwich forum: "Xavier Vidal could nutmeg a mermaid"

He looks a very talented young player on that video -with a few goals in him too.  Welcome Xavier, well done Faz and management team and thank you also to Gavin Rose and his team at Dulwich Hamlet who seem to have a production line of exceptional youngsters.

You have got him on a free transfer but in return for that I believe there is a large sell on clause

That's fair enough considering Hamlet has nurtured him for five years - just hope it is not much more than 50 per cent!

A big welcome to Xavier. I've read an online article about this. I must say Gavin Rose and Hamlets attitude towards this is first class. Thank you Gavin.

I commented before I had seen the you - tube video ad like I said have known of him for a long while...but just have to say his shot power is ridiculous, he's not even that big!!! That goal from outside the right of penalty area is up with some of the best you will see.

I simply can't believe my eyes...my faith in football is restored for a few moments. Wonderful attitude and looks like we benefit too:

"He was in contract but he has given us good service over the years," said Rose. "He has come up a little bit short for league football or been let down by certain clubs.

"That might have taken a toll on his confidence. But as a management team we know he is still good enough to play higher. The longer he stayed at Dulwich, if we weren't going up, would harm his chances of developing. I

"We as a club do not want to be selfish and just think about the club. We think about the player as well. That's why we have let him go on a free - to aide his development."
