Great player for us. Didn't quite live up to previous years last season but overall an amazing player who could muster up something special out of nothing.
Not unexpected, but sad. Thanks Joe for years of loyalty, superb performances and wonderful goals. Some performances last season were not at the outstanding level of prevous years, but there were undoubtedly reasons for that. Good luck, Joe, but don't go to Dartford!
Real shame that-I was looking forward to Joe slotting in some inch perfect balls for Vidal and Kabba to run onto.........brilliant contribution to the Wings endeavours over the years.........touch of magic about him........best of luck Joe
Great player for the Club and technically very good. Bit of a legend like several others for the seasons leading up to and culminating in the title. An era broadly comparable with the legendary days of old.
Echo what's been said really. Great commitment to the club over the years; good luck with your new club (whoever it is) and your professional career in the Bank.
Gonna miss Joe, always had a bit of swagger in his game. Joe is now ingrained in Welling folklore, favourite goal was away at Wrexham and our first goal back in the conference national. I hope we see Joe back watching a game in the future, I will buy you a drink in the wings bar!

Your right Matt, amazing goal!
Will miss him big time & Kenny.
Thanks Joe & all the very best!

I think you'll find the conference south, or national south, is still regional (tends to have teams in the south in it). Apart from Weston and Truro I reckon most are within 2 hours of London. Much easier than our league if you have a full time job in the city.
I see from his comments on signing for Maidstone that Joe was released by Welling. He accepted this as understandable due to the training regime but expressed surprise that it happened so late. That said he made it clear he has no axe to grind. Has certainly landed on his feet at his new Club.
