We certainly need a keeper plus probably another CB.....plus is Jake staying or going....I always thought we putva deadline on decisions one way or another
Have we got a list of who we have and positions....not long before Charlton game and with only a handful of friendlies ....which I agree with by the way.....we need to get the team together
As previously said on his interview a few weeks ago, Loui wants a squad of 18 and will get players on trial during pre-season. As we have a squad of 14 I would imagine that it will be left until pre-season for the remaining players to sign. Over the last few years we've always held a couple of spaces back in case a player comes up at the end of pre-season like Loick Pires, and the excellent Dorian Smith!
I would rather him hold the rest of his budget back so we can sign that final player or players should they become available. I believe he also has 3 keepers coming in on trial in pre-season, of which he will choose one.

Also I think that the official football league released list becomes effective from 30th June when the majority of contracts expire so perhaps Faz is hoping to pick up a gem or two there??
If we have four places left then one assumes a keeper, two centre halves and a central midfielder (surely if that were Jake we would know by now...)
Presumably, if Jake has been offered a contract, it cannot be withdrawn unless the club is prepared to forego compensation (although I may be completely wrong). Personally, I still hope he decides to stay but I guess time will tell.
