A bit of a double penalty as players served their suspensions and probably lost a few points for the team as well. Seems to indicate that the FA don't think the suspension penalty is enough. I'd not be in favour of fining the players as they need to feel free to fight for the cause and there are bound to be a few miss timed tackles, or "heat of the moment" reactions to refereeing decisions. We now just need a big crowd on the 11th.
If anyone should be blamed, it is Jamie Day. His behaviour at the end of the Southport away game was a green light for everyone. Some cards have been harsh, but a manager should set a better example, whatever the provocation.
