So the FA imposes a 4k fine for ill discipline (seems like a result because I thought it was supposed to be 10k?)

Reduced due to improved discipline towards the end of the season and, I quote, "changes in playing staff over the summer...."

Shut the door on the way out Jake...

A bit of a double penalty as players served their suspensions and probably lost a few points for the team as well. Seems to indicate that the FA don't think the suspension penalty is enough. I'd not be in favour of fining the players as they need to feel free to fight for the cause and there are bound to be a few miss timed tackles, or "heat of the moment" reactions to refereeing decisions. We now just need a big crowd on the 11th.

If anyone should be blamed, it is Jamie Day. His behaviour at the end of the Southport away game was a green light for everyone. Some cards have been harsh, but a manager should set a better example, whatever the provocation.

Barry stated in an interview in the last issue of WIE that it's in the player's contracts they have to pay the fines.

We should be able to boost next season's budget purely based on the fines accrued from last season?!
