Originally for as 4th of July at the latest, they have now confirmed it will be Friday.  I'd imagine we are away 1st game as cafc are at home, who would people like to play 1st???  Personally I'd like tranmere, if we get at them from the off I reckon we'd pull a result.

You have to think they'd be on quite a high after promotion though, my thought in tranmere is if we nick a early goal heads will drop and fans will be on there back..

I thought Gateshead away since the end of the season and still stick with my gut instinct. First home match against Cheltenham

It should be away but this is the Conference and Strudwick we are talking about here....how many times have we clashed with Charlton over the years..??

I will opt for Kidderminster away for the first game. Assume that the first home game may be the midweek after that so I will say Braintree!

If it is the same as last year it was BT sport who demanded clubs play there second nearest over the Christmas season that's why Dover got us. No doubt we will end up with the mega fixture at Christmas - away to Braintree or home to Boreham Wood.

I have a feeling that BT Sport will pick Tranmere if they choose to televise a game that weekend.

Looking at Charlton's fixtures the Wings could be home for Boxing Day and Away for New Years.

Boxing day
Bristol City v Charlton

Mon 28th December
Charlton v Wolves

Sat 2nd January
Charlton v Nottingham F

 http://nonleague.pitchero.com/news/national-league-delay-fixture-release-40400/

As a consequence to the announcement by HM Government that this specific date and time will now be used for a nationwide silence to pay tribute to the victims of the recent event in Tunisia, as a mark of respect, the National League has taken the decision to delay the release of the fixtures until 1pm.

I have a wedding in Portsmouth/Southsea area on August 8th....bad planning from my mate there.   First day of the season Welling match that I am going to miss for years.

Unless away v Eastleigh maybe I might have a squeak of a chance :)

As long as we don't get stitched up like last season. Ideally and logically - local games bank holidays, long journeys on a Saturday, local games midweek and return fixtures spread out so there's no easy 6 pointers.

A computer last year wouldn't have thrown up Bristol Rovers back to back Saturday's. It was as if someone wanted them to do well.

If we are at home on Tuesday 11th it will also clash with Charlton. They play Dagenham and Redbridge in the Capital Cup with cheap admission.

There really is a North/South divide in the National division this season.

Kiddy are the only sort of Midlands based team so I can see us getting a stupid midweek fixture or two (a la Torquay last season)

If you got Brislington and Shortwood in consecutive rounds as was quite possible last year you'd be mightily brassed off if you didn't

A big improvement on last seasons fixtures.

Bromley would have been a bigger gate over Christmas but I sort of expected Dover (60 miles not really local!). The Tuesday fixtures are better apart from Forest Green (both Tuesdays?). Chester and Lincoln coming to us midweek is not great for them.

....and another home fixture to end the season (that's happened quite a lot)

I took a quick look at the fixtures for all clubs.

Borehamwood travel to Torquay midweek. l wonder how many away fans will be there? Also their Christmas/New Year fixtures are against Braintree.

Spare a thought for Halifax. For the second season in a row, they are playing Torquay away midweek!

Did they spare a thought for us having two midweek trips to Gateshead?

You have to bear in mind that Dover may not be our closest opponents but we are theirs.
