Well...a question ...why do we always play lottery with keepers...personally I think it is the most important position on the pitch and see always seem to have several per season!!

Only loaning him for a month doesn't fill me with confidence either ... not seen him play? not sure if up to it?

Might be cover until they get a permanent keeper, or looking at him before a longer loan.

 I agree it's one of the most important positions but it's also why it's the hardest position to fill. Even Sir Alex had a lean spell with keepers.

Except the one year we had a good keeper who may have stayed several seasons (Mott) we wound up with the option of a better one  (Butcher) only for external events to intervene.
