Well done to the club for launching this promotion. I'll certainly be getting one.

Great idea and I would love to get one but getting to the club Mon-Fri before 4pm to buy one is difficult working the other side of London

I'm sure they'll be available on match days/nights.

Well done to the club for a good idea but it would be so much easier if they were available for sale from the Official Shop outside the ground. As matt said getting to the ground on a weekday before 4:30 is not easy for many people and I would anticipate that any supporter turning up 15 minutes before kick-off will have some difficulty in purchasing one of these '6 Picks'.

It "might" even be worth putting them on the online club shop.

Obviously see what the initial uptake is and then look at the logistics of doing that. Given the good value for money the WSP tickets present I expect it to be popular.

Whilst everyone's still in a good mood, and hopefully still in and around the ground I thought I'd bring up the Six Picks offer again.

Unfortunately I couldn't make the game today due to work commitments but watched the game on the way to work. One thing the commentators kept bringing up was the clubs budget.

I appreciate there's quite a few fans in the same boat as myself who can't make many games this season, however I would highly recommend all non-season ticket holders to take up the Six Picks offer.

Not only because it's good value for money but because it will give a much needed boost the the club's finances. The present squad have shown they're more than capable of getting a run together and getting us back up the table but as other clubs have already found, all it takes is a few injuries and suspensions and we're in trouble. The extra funds from the Six Picks tickets will give the management team an emergency lifeline should they need it, as opposed to having to resort to chucking youth players in the deep end.

the shop next door would be perfect for me as you can use a credit card as I don't usually have £75 cash on me but if I could use my card then that isn't a problem

I believe the club accept Cheques as well, although there is a cash machine just across the road.

In an age of contactless technology and ePayments, the cheque is now a modern day fossil. I don't think banks will even issue a chequebook unless you specifically request one.

There are lots of people who still use cheques (although I can't remember the last time I did) and I'm pretty sure banks still send out books when you are close to running out.

Not sure my bank does

Last time I wrote a cheque was probably 7 years ago

My wife doesn't use computers so anything she wants mail order is paid for by cheque. I'm sure the bank sends her a replacement book automatically when she is down to the last five.

I deal with some small organisations that prefer cheques rather than paying paypal or card charges. One actually give me a 10% discount for cheque payments.

I know this may provoke the "WDYPTC" comment but it may be worth asking them if you can do a direct bank transfer. Takes me seconds to do this on my phone and there's no admin fees for the club as is the case with card transactions.

Sorry to plug the six picks promotion again but thought I'd mention the following whilst everyone's hopefully in a good mood.

The vast majority of you will know this already but for those that don't, the Wings Six pick tickets are six individual tickets which you can actually give to friends and family to use as well. So with the mild weather making a brief return, if you're thinking of bringing some friends and family along to the Chester and/or Halifax game this week then it's most probably worth taking up the six picks offer.

It'll help give the club an advance financial boost, and give the management the funds required to strengthen the squad if required.
