Result wise everyone has got to be "Happy as a pig in S***" after past few weeks, as others have said lets hope we can build a little run and improve our performance's by playing with more confidence now.
To my fellow wings who made the journey have a safe one home.
Have not been to away for some time but was at this game today, & was in the Gateshead home end (long story).
At the end of the game I went down to congratulate the the Lad's, what I saw was a team giving back 110%+ in what it meant to win today !!!!
This win win was vital in more wan one.
Glad I went & well worth the kicking I nearly got at the FT whistle.
Ha ha ...

Absolutely fantastic result and well done to all- the players, management and the dedicated supporters who travelled. It certainly makes my 'clueless' comment look pretty silly but we are not going to score deflected goals from free kicks and 30 yard screamers every week.
Last season we achieved several back to back wins and what an opportunity we have this week to get some more wins.
Hopefully Kabba will be rearing to go after his unfortunate suspension and very harsh comments in the press.
Lets hope this win turns around our season,
Onwards and upwards.

did we play Videl in a more attacking role today? If we did it paid off and I've always thought that suited him.
I believe Vidal scored one from a set piece and another from long distance today and I think they said on Radio Wings that he started down the right, with Wellard in the centre.

Cracking afternoon and result in Gateshead and a few shandies in Noocassel over the weekend....!
It looked like 4-2-3-1 to me with Vidal right, Wellard central and Harris on the left backed up by Corne and Lee behind them. Two cracking strikes by Xav although technically the first has to go down as an own goal. Porter once again ran his wotsits off. Not sure he is a goalscorer mind but the two games he has played centrally against £astleigh and Gateshead he has been a threat and kept both centre backs busy. Harris more in the game on Saturday helped by the fact that he was on the left side and could go outside his full back from time to time. The defence looked solid in the most part and Nortei did ok filling in at right back.
I stand by my belief that this league is not as strong as previous seasons. We just went away to the team in second, fresh from victories over £astleigh and Wrexham in their previous two games, and they looked very ordinary. I was expecting an onslaught second half but it never materialised and they only created a couple of half chances to be honest. We can't expect to score goals like that every week so we still need to address the lack of goals in the team. However with a couple of tweaks this group of players is more than capable of climbing towards mid table....starting tonight!
