Gives us some much needed height in central attacking areas for Porter to feed off. Whilst he's not the quickest he does have a long galloping stride and there were several occasions yesterday where he bombed forward directly and had defenders back-peddling. Looks like a much better fit there than out wide.
Wellard did much better last night but started the game well in debit for his season to date.
He got some praise at the weekend and again last night from the manager (which is fair enough) but I think the credit should go to the group and not necessarily individuals for last night.
