There is a link on the conference forum to the BBC where ticket prices are compared for the leagues. Sorry don't know how to link using phone. Wellings cheapest match day ticket is 4% below league average and most expensive match day ticket is lowest in league. The cheapest season ticket is 10% below league average. The most expensive season ticket is a staggering 23% below the league average.

The only thing we are above average on price is our programme - £2.85 is the average, £3 for ours.

If we have one of the lowest admission prices in the league then it shows how overpriced football is at our level.

Also shows maybe we should be charging more....dodgy comment...but.....if OUR crowds are not increasing then lets get more money from the away support

Sorry Mark but I will be the first to disagree with you. I think we should run with the fact that we are very good value compared to other clubs in an attempt to secure new fans at PVR.

oops should have said new fans at PVR who don't go elsewhere on a regular basis or are disenchanted with league football.

Not sure where they got some of their data from; our most expensive season ticket is more than £250...

Yeah we tried that and it worked for the first season back in the national league when we had Luton and Barnet visiting but now the novelty of visiting little Welling has worn off for the other teams. In the latter part of the 2012-2013 season we managed to push our home support up to 700-800 with a crowd of 1000+ for a couple of games. Now we've shooed away a lot of that potential support and home supporter numbers have now dipped to 400-500. If we lose home support then we lose commercial/sponsorship revenue as well.

The club is moving in the right direction with offers like the kids go free offer and Wings 6 Picks but there needs to be a serious rethink on season ticket and matchday ticket prices. We need to start setting an example to the rest of the league, which we are to an extent with the kids go free offer.

Speaking of which, I noticed our kids go free offer isn't mentioned in the BBC "price of football" table, yet a couple of other teams are.

Reduce prices...reduce quality of players....unless equivalent uplift of crowd which we know doesnt happen

Actually reducing the budget, reduces the quality of players. The main reason for the reduction in budget this season is reduction in attendances partly caused by a lack of reduction in prices. Since the introduction of the Wings Six Picks offer, attendances have gone back up slightly. So this does show controlled ticket reductions do boost attendances.

If we can boost attendances, we can then boost sponsorship/commercial revenue, and thereby boost the budget.

My apologies. I wrongly assumed the budget had dipped to reflect the drop in gate receipts last season.

If the budget has stayed the same, yet gate receipts have dipped again this season, then even more reason to focus on a solution to this.

As already mentioned, the club have done their bit with the Wings Six Picks promotion. I think it's now down to the supporters to promote the club. Myself and others have leaflets, yet this costs money and only has a limited reach.

We've been asked to promote the club via social media yet 'liking' the match reports on Facebook isn't going to have much reach. After a while it looks a bit sad as well, thanks to the general "one man and his dog" perception of non-league football.

When WingsTV used to show full match highlights for free, I used to share them on Facebook and a few of my friends and family would watch that. It might be worth WingsTV doing some freeview mini-highlights (maybe first-half only or half with least goals as an example) to share on social media. It'd probably get more viewers than the freeview interview clips, help attract a bit more interest in the club and maybe get a few more WingsTV subscribers. Might be worth mentioning next home match, admission price and website details at the end of the freeview clip as well.

Just an idea.
