That's good considering the travelling difficulties. Please tell me that none of the 367 will be bringing a drum and that you can generate noise without artificial aids!!

I know Carlisle have a decent London supporter base but hats off to them for shifting those tickets already for a Sunday game three weeks before Christmas

Should be about 400 by the end of the week, maybe a few more. I was planning on bringing my Saxophone to knock out a few tunes...

This sundays the big day then eh. What do people rate our chances? Bookies have us at 3/1 to win, indicating a 25% chance of us actually winning on the day. IMO, we should be higher than that. 35% or so, cause to my recollection, we have only lost twice at home this season...no? (Bromley & Southport).

Depends which welling turn up, on paper we should lose. If we play well and they have a bad game we have a chance

If you are going to belt out a bit of gritty sax, that's fine. It's the monotonous and lacking in rhythm bang, bang, bang that I cannot abide.

With Carlisle selling 454 tickets already, so lets say it ends up at 500, the main stand sold out, and my ticket number I got on Friday was in the 200's for the terraces, I think we could be on for a 2000+ with many local floaters paying on the day! Cant wait for the weekend, just hope the atmosphere and game lives up to the occasion!! COYW

Yep, just checked our Twitter and saw this...

"We have currently sold 454 tickets for the trip to @wellingunited and 381 tickets for the trip to @ASFCofficial #cufc"

So looking at nearly 500 on Sunday. The other game mentioned is Accrington on Boxing Day, we should take between 1500-2000 there...

Respect, comrade, that is one hell of an effort by the Carlisle fans for such a long trip with Xmas coming up. Accrington is slightly nearer.

League 2 is very Southern based this season, only really Hartlepool, York, Morecambe and Accrington that we class as 'close'! After that it's Mansfield and Notts County, with the rest classed as 'Southern'.

I had a dream last night that I was at Wembley watching Welling v Cardiff. Had to sit with the Cardiff fans as the Welling end had sold out.

ok 500+200 for the seats is 700 and the usual 400-500 standing means an attendance of around 1200isn - it won't be any more than that

Plus the fact of the game being on a sunday. At a reasonable time for locals. With no home games for Charlton, Fulham or Leyton Orient this weekend. Fans of them around this area with deffo be interested.

Welling had sold in excess of 600 tickets on yesterday, with 500+ from Carlisle I can't see 900 paying at the gate, might get about 250-300

I'd love to see us get 2000+ but I just doubt it will happen.

Although even if we do get that amount the official attendance will probably only be 700 anyway

To my knowledge there's plenty of publicity flyers left in the ACS shop and club office if anyone wants to help with a last minute publicity push.

Would be a good advert to the neutral, to see a packed ground on the highlights.

The good news for Sunday is that the BBC weather has gone from heavy rain to light rain for Welling on Sunday, with luck it will be no rain at all. Swapping ends will be challenging if there's a big crowd and no cricket ground side to walk along

For Food and Drink, the Nags Head (Greene King Pub) which is a stones throw from the ground is probably your best bet.

If you are desperate for a Spoons, Bexleyheath is the next station on and there are two there. Rather like Carlisle, one is a Lloyds No. 6.

Got my standing ticket yesterday, ticket no 332. So I'd guess we'd be around 1500 total right now.

From my recollection, Yes. Only aware of Carlisle having their fans housed in the cricket side. So we can still walk around, but in the very narrow housing side.

How much does the cricket side hold and can the away fans living in london buy at the gate...just worried away fans may be in with welling fans if they cant

1200+ sold now. 500 Carlisle/700 Welling.

With fans knowing they can turn up and pay on the day, there could be a good number planning to go who haven't yet bought a ticket. 2000 looks a possibility.

An upset or two today might tempt a few more out of their homes. Everybody likes the idea of a cup upset.

I would not worry Odin unless you know something we don't, it appears the away turnstile will be open for last minute purchasers and I should think they can comfortably fit 800-1000 on the cricket side of the ground? And if CCU who has contributed gracefully to this forum is anything to go by, then there will be no problems.

I would personally like to congratulate CCU on his presentation here and wish him and his chums a great day in the former alternative 'San Siro Stadium', now known as Park View Road! Just hoping when you leave the ground CCU, our goal has been empty, other than McEntergarts footprints of boredom!!

Obviously I meant a welling song, to counter the missing noise from the other side. We could do with all the helpand inspiration we can get when it comes to making a noise at home.
