When asked about Reece Harris not starting, it was said he has been ill all week and didn't want to throw him in the deep end but they played KSA from the start with only 20 minutes under his belt this season!!!
The justification for Kieron playing seems to be for him to hold the ball up - which he doesn't do - and to squeeze Bakare into the team. Unfortunately all of his goal threat is nullified when you play him on the left wing, and it's no surprise he started getting chances once Kieron went off and he was moved centrally.
Harris being unwell would not have been known to the general supporter base.
However, the question of why Lee wasn't playing would have been unanswerable without them looking like the fools they are portraying themselves to be.
The other question is why drop Kevin Lokko, who has been superb all season and seems to have built up a good understanding with Michael Chambers, and opt instead for Harry Osbourne?
Perhaps Osbourne gives Macca or Barnsey a lift to training?!!

What a shambles. No logical explanations, a poor game plan which would never work with a player who has only played 20 minutes all season and has never played with most of these players.
The logic of not playing Lokko, Lee and Vidal doesn't exist and I will always wonder what we could have achieved if we had played it tight with a 5-4-1 formation and not been so open and seemingly scared of the occasion. We could have at least got a replay with the squad available.
Am fed up of hearing about positives, we have a run of fixtures in the league coming up where we'll be lucky to pick up any points, some tough games against teams in the top half of the league.
I fear we are going backwards rather than forwards, the return of KSA is a massive negative in my opinion as he adds nothing to the team and looks unfit!!
Whilst they were on the pitch I thought Fagan and Osborne did ok but I bet they were as surprised to be starting as we were?! Quite what Lokko, Lee and Vidal made of being put on the bench is another matter.
There is/was no justification for starting KSA and the blame lies squarely with the "management team" for that. Having said that, if KSA showed half the aggression during the game as he did trying to get at one of his "critics" at half time he might actually have achieved something. The Carlisle lad saved him from getting into serious trouble although his motive was probably that he would rather carrying on marking KSA in the second half...
