I see that the Stoke player, Geoff Cameron's red card has been rescinded earlier this afternoon. This was for an alleged push on West Brom's Claudio Yacob, who fell down somewhat theatricality and started to roll over on the ground. As for now, l have not heard of the FA taking any action against Yacob for his part in the incident.
I wonder if anyone at Welling has taken note of what has happened today considering Kabba was banned for three games in a similar incident when he was found guilty of 'play-acting' yet the evidence was inconclusive!
Double standards indeed. If the FA don't treat this exactly the same as the Kabba incident then they've made a mockery of their own disaplinary procedures. Kabba received a £200 fine too if my memory serves me right.
There was a discussion on the radio following last night's game at Swansea in which an opponent's excessive overreaction played a part in getting a fellow pro sent off. It was agreed by all that the player who was 'fouled' should receive a retrospective ban!
