Danson has announced the identity of the goalkeeper but the other two new recruits could be anything/anyone??
And I don't really give a **** who Boreham Wood or Torquay sign - you can sign ten strikers (if you are £astleigh or Forest Green) but chances are you will only play two, maybe three of them at once,
Let's not get too excited, (although I'm sure that not many of you were at this incredibly underwhelming news). Unless I'm very much mistaken, none of them can play tomorrow as all players need to be registered a week in advance to play in the Trophy.

I know we missed out on Pavey, but I do also agree with Faz regarding an established striker, much rather sign a decent striker at the end of the window than signing one now/previous weeks that won't score!
With a decent goalkeeper, defender and midfielder who has 3 goals in 12 appearances (9 as sub) we may at least start to improve our performances. I think this warrants a small bit of optimism at least!
Before I get shot down, I am not stating everything is fine etc. I still think change is needed but at least something proactive is happening!

And what's the basis for that assumption? Why would a striker signed early be any worse, or one signed later any better? Optimism for the sake of optimism.
Speculating, but maybe our chances of getting Pavey on loan would have been improved if we hadn't faffed around with Tom King's loan.
New signings are all well and good but will take up more of the budget and leave us with even less to attract a striker, established or otherwise.
Who's on the way out? KSA goes from being a starter in our biggest game of the season against Carlisle to not featuring at all, Tashan from being first sub (even before Bakare...) when we need a goal to not even making the bench. This must surely be an acknowledgement by the management (albeit months and months after the fans have realised) that they are not good enough - why are they continuing to drain our wage bill? Then you have Kabba who has gone from not featuring to starting two consecutive games and missing a chance that even Harry Redknapp's missus would have tucked away.
Thoroughly underwhelmed. It appears we're going to be left with the same dross, both in terms of forwards and managers, until the end of the season.

Just seen the interview, had to laugh at the comment 'confidence is a great thing' so why drop Vidal to the sub bench (yes l know the pitiful reason) after he scored four goals in the Grays' reply? Then do exactly the same thing to Bakare after he netted two in three games!
It's no coincidence that both players are struggling to find form at present.
Great video footage from Tom as ever , one player of notice from the shots was Conor Mclaren , glad to see him back training , would be good to get Conor back involved with the club
Must have missed Conor on the video but very good to see him back playing. He's had some bad luck with injuries over the last few years but a very good full back on either side.
Paul is right, great footage again from Tom.

After hearing Paul Barnes comments it seems that the three new signings will be available tomorrow. Good luck to them all.
