Ben Jefford is far more of a captain than Ricky Wellard will ever be. Another error from Faz making Wellard Captain?

The biggest downside of making Wellard captain is that he virtually becomes an automatic pick (I now he was left out of a few games earlier in the season)

Therefore he basically commands the "number ten" role and Vidal is shunted left and right and then back to holding midfield where he is wasted. He was signed as a goalscoring/creative midfielder yet we give him precious little opportunity to score and/or create?!

Have to agree that Wellard has rarely impressed and does not deserve an automatic start; but how many of the current squad do, and would the management team recognise them? After all they seemed to keep the faith with KSA for far too long.

Joe Healy with no training sessions each week is twice the player Wellard will ever be, why he was released was a huge mistake and totally clueless!!

I predict 1-0 to Barrow. However I'm sure we've been working hard in training.

Agree. Though not on corners, free kicks or shooting at the goal thingy.

Regardless of grievances against management, criticising the entire team needlessly is only going to knock their confidence and make matters worse.

Let's get behind the lads tomorrow and push them on to get three points. We all know from results earlier in the season that they have the ability to win. Now they just need convincing not pushing away.

WTID criticising the entire team I don't think that's happened.
Certain players yes.
Entire team no.

Something inside me thinks Welling will not lose today.

I am half tempted to put a tenner on a draw as reverse psychology Welling may well win !!

Put on £10 most places are offering roughly around 3/1 on a draw.

I'm with you 'Welly', based upon your confidence, I've dug down the side of the sofa and am now off to the bookie's to put my 50p on. Fingers crossed.

Right......So that's now 25p with Welly on a draw and 25p with Morph for a 2-0 win.

I can't go today due to work. Normally this is gutting for me but today it's a lucky excuse.

To those that do go today please get behind the team but if you must boo, hiss and get angry then do it towards those who are responsible for this mess- our amateurish owners.

Trigger would gladly give my winnings to BTB if 2-0 came in

However would need matron to confirm that a 2-0 victory is not a figment of my imagination though.

1-1

Shame about the equaliser seconds before HT but the team definitely looked a lot more energetic and determined than they have recently.

If you are not going to score many you have to make sure those you do score count.

They should never have been appointed but the mistake should have been corrected 5 weeks ago.

We are now down.

Well done Hobbins.

Can't recall us winning one ball in the air all game. Thought we were poor again and they should have been a goal up before we scored and maybe if we had gone in at 1-0 the second half might have been different but another loss and relegation is certain.

The performance for the majority of the first half was reminiscent of the performances in the earlier part of the season. However the lads simply didn't show up for the second half. It's pretty clear the team have thrown in the towel already.

It's a shame because as individuals they should at least be giving 100% for themselves even if they don't want to be at the club this moment in time. Clearly they don't even want to stay at this level (with us or another club) let alone get up into the football league.

Bar a lot emptier, people clearly not turned up today.

Tactics...again clueless, losing 2-1 with a corner and the keeper is told not to come forward. Clueless, inept, no ideas and the only thing i hope the 3 clowns were writing on the piece of paper Matt was holding was their resignation later.

The owners of the club clearly don't care that the majority of supporters want the managers sacked so I don't see why they would be worried about those customers staying away. Or maybe they did n't envisage that.

The bar emptier doesn't effect is sadly. That's the off field ineptitude.

A big thank you to the Carlisle fans for supporting our team today - now you know what we have to put up with week in week out

Off the pitch we're now worse off than we were before promotion.

With the way things are going with falling attendances, no match or matchball sponsor and less people advertising in the programme (probably correlates with there being less and less people to advertise to), I'm concerned there won't be a club at all within the next five years.

Have to feel for Paul White as he absolutely works his socks off.

First half ok - good in places, 2nd half we were clueless. Definitely missing Loks at the back, and if we had someone with a bit of size upfront it would make such a difference. I felt pretty depressed at the final whistle today.

Fair points. No sponsors. That's 100s lost. No bar or catering takings. Less programme sales and gate money. dear oh dear.
