Is it really that difficult for the bar to get someone to go down to tescos and get a couple of boxes of beer bottles for a tenner? The price mark up in the bar is ridiculous so more lost money.
Some positive play in the first half and with a striker we would have doubled our lead. Barrow were there for the taking and as soon as they knew we had no threat their confidence grew and they bullied their way to a lead. The crowd were very sedate and it looked empty. I just sat thinking if this loss would finally get the owners to behave like owners-but I am beginning to think that they arent bothered. Shocking that there is no striker and no players out on loan to generate some income-whats going on?
Decent first half but conceding that many corners it is inevitable they would score. The team battled well and there were some promising individual performances but the change is long overdue. Not sure what the crowd was today but definitely got to be the lowest for a Saturday game for sometime. Also not seen the bar that quiet for a long time

It just seems they have accepted relegation. The 3 amigos seemed unconcerned with the loss. Endless, meaningless instructions being yelled out. You feel there's something going on behind the scenes. Maybe staying up last season wasn't so good!
Even when we scored it seemed inevitable that they would equalise, and once their second goal went in we all knew there was no way back. Why, with 3 minutes to go, we get a corner, our keeper runs forward to get involved, only to be sent back. putting pressure on the opposition is obviously not one of the instructions issued by the three amigos.
That was one of the games in hand wasted, I wonder if Faz will now admit there is a problem?
I've heard from two different people (both players) that KSA has been told he can attend training just once a week.
I have no idea regarding his circumstances but considering Faz told Joe Healy he couldn't return as he could only attend 1 training session a week makes this laughable. Healy was on half the wages of our current captain but i know who i would rather have. At that to the list of total screw ups by the 3 jokers. I don't know whether to laugh or cry. A club official told me before the Havant game last week that an unknown club had offered to take KSA on loan for the season and pay all his wages. I personally would have booked a cab to take him over there, so the money could be used to bring players in. Faz decided that instead of picking up the phone, he would talk to KSA in training. Well he was named on the bench today which tells you everything.
A lack of common sense, awful tactics and just clueless all round. Why are they still employed at this club. Time to go.

And that's the point, Joe Healey could drive the team. Another error by the 3.When will they get this striker they keep talking about? Barrow were there for the taking today, but of course we weren't up to it
I blame the trio for not being strong enough to admit they aren't experienced enough to manage the club.To be honest they should resign and get that experience at a lower level. We need a saviour now because of the mess the created, trouble is their are precious few of those around.Only positive today was Daniel who was able to create things but with no striker it all means nothing
My heart say's 2-0 welling my head says if barrow score first same o same o but hope say's the new signings will start will make a difference however in reality ? We will see

One of them did make a difference
The difference between us losing 2-1 and 9-1
On that note I have to say Rodak was incredible today and prevented the game ending with a cricket scoreline.
Off the pitch we're now worse off than we were before promotion.
With the way things are going with falling attendances, no match or matchball sponsor and less people advertising in the programme (probably correlates with there being less and less people to advertise to), I'm concerned there won't be a club at all within the next five years.
Have to feel for Paul White as he absolutely works his socks off.
Correct.
Afc Bexley United or Afc Welling United for the phoenix club?
Can we get brian potter to open it....GARLIC BREAD

Getting ridiculous now, must be something going on behind the scenes.. Personally would prefer Jody Brown at this rate. Relegation is now inevitable and i cant see these clowns going anywhere just yet.

Speaking of which, I just noticed an interesting conversation here:
Seems a bit pointless to have a rant after this mornings news but I have got into the habit of it this season so here goes anyway...
First half there were some promising signs - moving the ball quickly, getting behind the opposition and trying to get some shots off. Daniel looked like he had something about him and might be even better if he could kick the ball with his right foot...the goal on half time really killed us and, in fairness, it was a good header. I can't fathom why we defended so deep - the big lump up front won everything in the air but was on his own and had no pace so we should have been twenty yards further up the pitch - that way we might not have conceded so many free kicks, long throws and FOURTEEN corners to a big team that clearly thrives on set pieces. Whatever "information" was passed on at half time clearly had a detrimental effect as, aside from Daniel trying to walk the ball in, we created next to nothing and were on the back foot throughout. The defence which has kept us alive in many games is worryingly starting to creak and but for some good saves from our new keeper it could have been a lot worse. The law of averages says that if you concede FOURTEEN corners in a game there is every likelihood you will concede chances and/or goals. I didn't understand quite what the management trio were trying to do - changed to 4-4-2 for all of five minutes and then introduced another sub and went 3-4-3 with two left wingers playing at wing back?! And only Welling could get a player booked in injury time, when chasing the game, for kicking the ball away?! Grimsby and Barrow have shown that we are becoming a soft touch and we need more power and height in the team.
One of the old bugbears returned in earnest on Saturday as, yet again, we failed miserably to "play" the officials. The two Barrow centre halves were constantly in his ear from start to finish and at every break in play there were at least two blue shirts around the referee and no sign of a red one. The keeper and three of the back four got "injured" in the second half (although only one needed treatment...) and yet the official added on three minutes?! (of course we could have told Barrow that it could have been three, thirty three or one hundred and three minutes and we still wouldn't have scored) I hope the new management finally make us a lot more streetwise.
Good luck to whoever takes over - you're going to need it! They will get my support although I can't help feeling it is too little too late.
