Now comes the interesting part. Who would you have replace the management team?

Firstly you have to consider who's within the budget and who's available.

The only two options that spring to mind are Ashby and Frost, or maybe Liam Daish. However as I said that's assuming they're available.

Before posting any rumour's you may see online...why don't you wait for the club to formally announce who the new manager is?

Come on Polo, why are we prevented from discussing the inevitable on here? It's done.

We all know it's Louis Van Gaal with Giggs as his assistant.

Because as I said above, the club should be the first to announce it. Not bothered by where you saw it to be honest.

Whoever the "mystery" manager and assistant may be, they're certainly going to be in for a busy week.

No more excuses for players underperforming - shape up or ship out. It's too late for a few so let's hope we can get them off the wage bill and bring in the goalscorer(s) we so desperately need.

PS. Has Mike McEntegart gone along with Matt?

Not when the club have said before that they want to announce things first.

Just following their wishes.

If news people know the identity and announce it to the public, I don't think you can stop people mentioning it on here. The question should be how did the press find out (assuming it is true).

Here here. Even Piggy has acknowledged on Twitter that it's out in the open now, regardless of whether they wanted it to be. I don't see the use in trying to hide it.

 This

The club aren't the best at announcing the things they promise to announce. TBH I'm still waiting for them to tell us how much the tribunal ruled Woking should give us for Jack Parkinson

I don't care if the club want to announce things first. They have dragged their heels on this whole matter. And since when was this forum controlled by the club?
Libel and abuse should be moderated, rumours should not.

Seems strange we can't discuss what many Kent newspapers and non league pages has tweeted or put up online 3hrs ago.

Can we not say "if true, that is good / bad / will get a warm welcome / frosty reception" etc?

Oh well, we'll just have to wait til the club announce.

If we have an agreement with the club for them to notify everyone of the new manager first then it should be honoured. Obviously it seems strange when other media outlets are publishing it for all to read. No matter what our views are on the club's communication, in the interest of further improvements for the long term their request should be adhered to (as crazy as it seems).

Agreed, an entirely hypothetical partnership of Frost as manager and Ashby assisting him would be good

Not held back by the club but by me. As i explained to you at the time, Harry's paperwork had not gone through. Therefore you risked posting on here that a player had signed even though officially he hadn't.

If the club controlled what was posted on here then half the stuff that was posted would not appear. May be embarassing from your point of view but it's common sense, and i don't think it's right that things have been announced before the club did. If it was everywhere that Faz was going to be sacked yesrerday before he was told would that be right?

If you don't like it then don't post. Simples

Sorry, but I find this situation of not being able to discuss news otherwise published nationally nearly 6 hours ago, just childish and indicative of the poor communications (or lack of) that cascade from the club.

So ok I can be childish too, "here is the weather forecast for Welling - tonight early evening cloud and intermittent rain will clear. Then it will be a dry and breezy night with long clear periods. Southwesterly winds will freshen towards dawn and the minimum temperature will be 6C. Tuesday - a dry, bright, but windy morning. Increasing cloud will bring outbreaks of rain through the afternoon. Mild and windy but don't rule out the presence of some frost in Park View Road at some time during the day. There may also be some ash deposited by the winds!"

Other news - today's most requested song by Welling United supporters on Radio Kent has been Peters and Lee singing "Welcome home" - that's not Martin and Frannie by the way!

I await my ban.

Why say "I await my ban?" You keep asking to be banned, if that is your wish then I would be happy to oblige.

Another example, my company announced redundancies last year. Before we were told by the company, the news was in the papers that morning. How do you think people felt on the commute into work that they may not have a job at the end of the day? Regardless of what you think about the communication, it should have not been any other persons job to break the news other than the company.

How do you know for example that Frost and Ashby didn't have other employers or people that they needed to inform before it broke? How do you know if the club may have been speaking to someone else about the job who could have been put off by that news coming out? All unlikely possibilities, but still possible.

I've been told that the club want to announce things first which i think is the correct thing. I'm sorry if people disagree but that's what i'm sticking to, regardless of what you think. I'm more than happy to buy you a pint at the next home game should you be attending if you wish to discuss the matter further. But that's the last of it on here.

Do you think that the club will announce before the match on Saturday or after the match?
