I've been listening online. Sounds like we've not created anything but not been totally outplayed either. Never expected anything today so if we keep the goals down and just plan for the games we can compete in.

Well done to the 48 Wings fans who made the trip.

The result was not a surprise so just need to move on, BUT we must start taking points from teams in mid-table and below.

As has been the case for most of the season, played well in parts and were not thrashed. However, there was little likelihood of us getting a goal and once the second went in, any hope of nicking a point had gone.

We haven't scored two in a league game since 13th October which means we have to keep a clean sheet to win a game.

Can't fault the effort or application but it was very much men against boys on Saturday. The big lad up front for Cheltenham won everything in the air while we pumped high balls towards Kabba who was swatted away like a fly by the Cheltenham defence. The service to Kabba was not good at all but he could have worked their defenders a lot harder than he did...We did get in some promising wide areas and crossed a few half decent balls but once again there was nobody threatening to get on the end of them. Our keeper had a very good first twenty minutes but when the first goal went in it was pretty much game over and I felt that Cheltenham never really got out of second gear throughout the game. Nice to see Ben Jefford supporting his old mates although it begs the question that why did they sign him if he is not even going to make their matchday squad...??

Oh and one other thing. At half time I expect to see our substitutes warm up properly as they might be needed for the second half. Two blokes playing tippy tappy together on one part of the pitch while the other three, one of whom was the club captain, just standing around having a chat does not, in my humble opinion, constitute warming up (although KSA might beg to differ on that one...)

Is Wellard still captain? He's not figured much since Faz left.

What I like is the COMPLETE honesty that Frosty shows on the interviews....he knows....and says it where we are lacking....he knows the side is too young....he knows what is needed....whether he can get it together this season or start afresh in Conf South we will see but it is refreshingly honest
