Just got back from game. First half we were the better team, competed well and created chances. Second half Aldershot grew in confidence but we defended well and Rodak made some excellent saves. Barney was immense as usual and new signing Kargbo was really impressive. Crunching tackles, good distribution, reads the game well, I thought he was a close MOM too. The penalty was a disgrace, blatant dive by our ex player, I was sitting almost level. Jamie Turner on the bench was going mental. Just no luck at the moment, should have been a yellow card for diving. Can't really fault the lads today, deserved better.
Absolute farce if the only two people in the ground who felt it was a penalty are the one man who matters, and the bloke who's supposed to review his performance.
Edit: I realise now you may have meant the ref put "penalty, incorrect decision" rather than "penalty". Incorrect decision.

Maybe I have missed something, where is Harry Lee? Game was terrible today. We don't have the strong competitive players that the northern and non London teams seem to have. We should have got a competitive seasoned player like Louis Briscoe, or a Jon Parkin like centre forward. This league is physical but we still keep getting the same players, having said that the new guy is what we have missed, a few more like him and we wouldn't be in this mess.
Quite how anyone could look beyond The Fixer as MOTM is beyond me. Sat in front of the back four, kept it simple, passed to a red shirt and put himself about, including crunching the mouthy little 10 (that alone would have got my vote!).
For the second home game on the trot we get the opposition's left back on a yellow and then don't go near him. How he only got a yellow for his decapitation attempt is incredible; his two teammates who joined him in the book must feel harshly treated. Better playing the officials would have seen them reduced to 10 then.
My only game this season so know the players but the new lad Kargbo in midfield looked like a cool customer and did the Molby "not move much but knock it around nicely". Was with some Aldershot fans afterwards in the Door Hinge who all said it was never a penalty - and were very impressed with Rodak in general. Pardon the cliche but what was put in the Welling half-time tea? We more than matched them first half.
Whether it was a penalty or not wouldn't we love a centre forward who puts that much effort into their game, holds the ball up, draws free kicks, chases lost causes and ultimately won his team the game. As Frosty said afterwards Rossco got a few decisions for us so it would be churlish to knock him when the boot is on the other foot.
I have been very impressed with Rodak although decision making is not his forte - witness the goal conceded on Saturday and at home to Altrincham a few weeks back. The goalkeeping position has been a problem for nearly two seasons now - we could do worse than trying and get him on a season long loan for next season but that is subject to both he and Fulham agreeing to him playing another step down the pyramid....
Like others I would have voted the new fella Kargbo as motm - kept it simple, won his tackles and organised those around him well. Perhaps one to consider for next season and there aren't too many of them in the current squad...
Groundhog Day once again - promising start but still mostly shots from long range. Half time comes and we are a different team aside from one goalmouth scramble. Keeper keeps us in the game and then one mistake and it is game over. At least we don't get any flannel like we did with the previous regime in the post match interviews.
