Right... I'm about to set off to Stadium PVR.

I have a strange feeling for a 1-1 draw.    Betstatz . com / simulation  goes for a 0-1 away win when I asked it to take in for account of recent results bias.

But.... I have a feeling  :)   right 50 mins from kick off  time to get going.....

Great shift from everyone today. Can't fault the players. Some of them were blowing out of their backside at the end which shows the effort they put in.

Really thought we deserved the win. Like the look of the loanee as well. Great first touch and troubles their defence

It's a very very tall order but if the lads continue to play like that for the rest of the season then who knows, they may still be able to pull off a miracle.

We're down but let's hope we continue to show that amount of commitment, skill and heart in every game from now until End of April.
Our 31 has been bloody fantastic since Frosty brought him in. Well done to all concerned today. There's life in the old dog yet!

Well done to all, for once they did credit to the shirt. Never mind the hail, sleet and rain they battled through it, and if the ref had blown his whistle at +4 minutes as he should have done it would have been a deserved win. However to draw with the top side, when you're deep in the relegation zone, is a great result.

not enjoyed a match as much for many a month.

just keep it up and who knows?

Double Echo to the comments about Kargbo..front cover of the programme...man of the match and dominated the midfield all day long...can't wait to see him and Harry Lee link up...COYW

Well done today to the players and management on a superb work rate and performance. I heard many people say Cheltenham were a poor side, I would prefer to give us credit for making them look weaker than they truly are because of the way we played and the effort we put in. A killer blow at the end, but if we play like that for the rest of the season at least we will have some pride.

Excellent performance today and what really impressed me was the spirit within the team which has been lacking big time all season. The celebration when we scored was fantastic and showed these players really do want to do well for the club. Although a tall order I do now believe we have a chance of staying up if the players repeat that performance in The coming weeks.

Echoing the comments above, it was so nice to get excited watching Welling again. Go down with that spirit and effort and we may have a half decent platform for next year. You never know we could win the AGM cup!

The match itself was far better than anything served up at home throughout January and February.

Kargbo could well turn out to be a fine player for us. He at least beats players which we weren't doing before but he needs to release the ball sooner.

I'd expect all the better players we have would be looking to stay playing in the National League, so retaining them if / when we go down will be a challenge.

Yestrdays performance was by far the best that I've seen all season, from the keeper and defence through to the midfield and attack we played with passion and heart. There were times when we could have gone behind but the players threw their bodies in the way and denied the division's top team from scoring until the last minute. Our battling was excellent and at many times during the match we even outplayed Cheltenham. I have to admit that i think we've left it a little late to get into the play-offs but if we take that performance to Dover and beyond we will move up the table. Glad to see that the Barney William's man of the match award went to someone different, in actual fact anyone of the players could have got it and there wouldn't of been too many complaints.

Sam Corne and Barney Williams signed two year contracts at the start of this season.

I have been one of the first to criticise so credit where credit is due on Saturday.

Despite a paltry crowd (and a very poor turnout from the league leaders) it felt like the home supporters and players connected for the first time in weeks/months on Saturday (that might be down to a better effort and performance and also the poor performance of the officials?!) We did play well and Cheltenham were probably below par but that just emphasises that I think this league is not very strong this year when you consider the two clubs are over 50 points apart! All our lads battled hard and we cut out the silly mistakes which have cost us goals in a few home games. I really felt like we were out on our feet in the last ten/fifteen minutes so, having taken the lead so late in the day, it was gutting not to hold on but I don't think the two points "lost" will make a great difference in the wider scheme of things. We still need to wise up on the darker arts of the game and play the refs a lot better - the ref on Saturday was one of the worst I can recall (see the Cheltenham number 4 and what he was able to get away with on Saturday)

Rodak once again did well and I wouldn't mind a season long loan for him next season. If Fulham were prepared to let him drop a level is another matter...the return of Lokko has made a big difference as it enables us to compete better physically with other teams. The new kid from Orient certainly made a difference and looks more of a threat in the "number ten" role and Wanadio certainly worried them throughout the game and has a little bit about him. Had we a better target man to hold the ball up and/or be a threat in the air I think it would make us a 15-20% better side all round. Kargbo has impressed in the games he has played and I have always been a fan of Nortey although I still don't really know what his best position is...?? Last but not least step forward Reece Harris - I have been one of his biggest critics but that was the best I have seen from him for months - looked a threat, ran himself into the ground and would have been motm for me on Saturday.

Lots of positives on the day (I am starting to sound like Faz?!) and let's hope we can carry that into the rest of the season. Most of these players are effectively on trial for next season now in my opinion and if they want to stay with us or play at a higher level they need to perform at the same levels as Saturday on a far more consistent basis.
