Of course some of the better ones are capable of playing at National Level (or maybe higher in the future) and will quite possibly move on over the summer.
But if you were in charge and had the choice, who would you like to see at PVR next season.
Stay - Williams, Lokko, Chambers, Nortei, Corne and Lee
Maybe - Porter, Kargbo, Taylor
Go - Everyone else
I haven't included the loan players as they are not strictly speaking our players and their parent clubs may want them to play no lower than National level.
My retained list (although a few will go im sure of it) Barney, Lokko, Taylor, Harris, Lee, Corne, Kargbo, Nortey, Porter, Saggers. And rest either return to there parent club or released.
Wanadio scored plenty for Staines, Bakare would get you 15 in the south. Mikey kept us up last season and has done well this season. But i think most people would keep the ones Wingnut has mentioned then one or two of the others, then add to that.
We will not be bringing in players from this league next season other than what we have, Would you rather pay Bakare and Wanadio what they are on now and have a good shot at both get 15 next season or would you rather pay someone 400 that might get 15 and have kids or unproven strikers as back up?
I don't know what money Chambers is on - that wasn't the question. If he wants to stay then I would keep him. The back four of Williams, Chambers, Lokko and Jefford was good enough at National level and kept us in most games when we struggled to score.
Kargbo is on my maybe list purely down to age and fitness - I have been impressed with him as well. However I would keep Corne, Nortei and Lee which doesn't leave a lot of room in central midfield. I wonder if Lee could be tried at left back?? I have heard a lot of positives things about Joey Taylor but he is very young and hasn't convinced me at all in the games I have seen recently. Porter runs around a lot (which automatically rates him ahead of most of our forwards...) but nowhere near enough end product for me in terms of creating and/or scoring goals.
Not sure Wanadio is going to score lots at South level - he could be a creator but needs to me much more of a team player. Bakare would probably get a few. Saggers could be a squad player.
I really think we are kidding ourselves if we think we will have much chance of keeping hold of Lokko, Chambers, Lee, Nortey. They simply won't want to drop any further down the Pyramid IMO.
If someone comes in with decent money for Corne and Williams they will be off too. All the players I've mentioned will definitely be on the radar of several clubs in the national league and above. It will be a complete team rebuild in the summer if you ask me.
Agree, I don't think we can expect any of the players to stay loyal and drop down if they get an opportunity to move to a club in the National League. The sooner Frost is given his budget and can start the re-build the better.
Always makes me laugh that 3ven in Premiership....players leave when they get relegated saying * dont want to play lower*.....well it was them that got the team relegated in the first place

Unless you are Jonjo Shelvey on 80k a week and with no clause in his contract to reduce his wages upon relegation...

I do, roughly. Too much.
Regarding Chambers "easily" matching Lokko "most" of the time, that statement in itself is as contradictory as it is incorrect.
Chambers hasn't quite matched Lokko but has had a decent enough season. Good enough for you! I'm not incorrect no more than you're correct in your assertion. In your disappointment with our season (which am sure we all share) you seem to have morphed from being a decent contributor to an aggressive/negative one. Pardon me for having a contrasting view to yours.
