There are a few on the market.

Brandon Hall was released by Gravesend. He was highly considered and doesn't appear to have signed for anyone else.

Chris Lewington has chosen to leave Margate. He started at E&B&Q but progressed through Fisher and the Omlettes into the league with the mutants.

Andy Rafferty kept England C international, Mitch Walker, out of the Les Douvres team at times last season and is a local lad (Sidcup).

Craig Ross has left Brighton Moneybags and has been praised by the supporters. He is also local (Thamesmead) and has played one Kent Senior Cup tie for Welling.

Would you have any of these or A.N. Other?

If he carries on the way he's going, he'll be in this league or there abouts in the next five years.

Although older, it took David James just five years to go from England No1 and FA Cup winner with Portsmouth, to Luton player/coach...

A good list with Hall or Ross the picks for me.

As for others how about enticing Lee Butcher back if possible!

There's a piece in the South London Press this morning that links us with ex Crystal Palace keeper Chris Kettings.

He has been on loan at a few clubs I hear. My friend covers Palace U21 for their website and says he is far better than Thomas King.

Our new custodian spent several seasons at Dagenham and attracted interest from Watford only 2 years ago.

You could also say he is already 'Welling' as he works for the club in the community and schools.
