Let's hope we can get off the mark tonight with 3 points. It will be interesting to see whether MG plays the same team that lost at Oxford, but whatever the case lets get right behind the boys tonight.
COYW!

Oh dear 2 bad days at the office. Shane all 3 players I said should never play for the club again played, and all badly. There's now 8 players that need to be moved ASAP.
Oxford & Bishops Stortford 2 of the worst teams in this division both done us with ease. Relegation looms large again.
That was absolute ****e...can't buy this team need to gel for a performance like that, second to every ball, exposed down the right and again created nothing...I hope this is a massive wake up call to our players that this league is not at all easy #coyw
I have to agree with others tonight and say that that was a shameful "performance."
The lads need to a look at themselves in the mirror and ask themselves what league they really want to be playing in.
All the team can do now is train harder and work together to find the right formula.
The only silver lining is that the vast majority of the squad are non-contract (at least I hope), so if they do choose to continue slacking MG can send them packing.

The players aren't good enough. I find it hard to believe we are better than the Havant & Waterlooville team that beat us, and were relegated last year.
Now is the time to act. No point waiting till after Christmas when the hose had long bolted like last year.
Wish we could have a team like Ebbsfleet, who will steamroller this **** division.
It was almost like they still thought it was pre season. We really missed Harry Crawford. Rather worrying how many times Bishops Stortford got through on our right. We were lucky to go in at half time 1-0 and hardly created any decent chances in the second half.
Didn't see much cause for optimism tonight - we hardly created anything and have to say Stortford deserved the win. Could be a long season at this rate.
Oh christ even WTID is taking pops. That's when you know **** just got real
At least with the teams under Jody Brown and the Three Amigos you could see some possibility of a turnaround.
I was hoping that Saturday was a blip but it's obvious that there's too many lads in that squad who either aren't cut out for this level (or Ryman Premier) or simply can't be bothered. Can someone check that Damian Matthews isn't bunking off the training sessions and leaving KSA in charge: "That's it lads just stand up against that shed. Now hold that for 90 minutes..."
Echo the comments on here, poor performance and B Stortford deserved the win. 3 penalties in two games conceded, dreadful. No idea why Jonte is not starting, he looked decent when coming on. Never near second balls and no real threat. Only good thing was seeing one of the development players, Archie Johnson, getting a chance off the bench. Apart from that, did not think things could get much worse after relegation........long season ahead.
That was a disgrace tonight. It is evidently clear that we have players not up to this level, either stepping up a level or players tumbling down and just looking for a pay day.
Goldberg must cut the crap excuses and make changes otherwise their is only one way we are going and it's not the play offs

Well! So far (and I know its early days) this squad is showing all the traits of the Brown and The 3 amigos era's. If not worse! We are two games in and I'm looking at the fixtures wondering where the wins are going to come from. I have to be honest I'm struggling. Bearing in mind I haven't even seen most of the teams in this league play yet. I had my fears when we lost so heavily to Maidstone and Bromley. I hope I'm wrong but from what I've seen so far, this season could be very painful. Are there 4 worse teams in this league? Lets hope so.

I assumed after Saturday that one of the 3 players was Slabber who I actually thought played ok tonight. Nelson at right back was 4/10

One thing to remember in this league is the only transfer cut off is the end of March. You aren't stuck until January for changes if we are still horse manure at the end of August.
As I was standing in front of the urinal I thought how it's good to be back to the old familiar places, I didn't expect to be seeing the same old performance on the pitch! Very poor from the team, or rather from the guys in the red shirts as they certainly were not much of a team last night. They need to put in some real effort on now or we'll be dropping further down the leagues.

So who are these 8 players that are not up to it...........puosu.
Some strange decisions tonight. Hatton as a second striker for half an hour giving us possibly the slowest forward line in Welling history?! Then a winger moved to centre forward. Also a bit of Slabber up on his own which, to be fair to him, isn't his game. No good knocking balls down the channels for him although when it was played to him his hold up play needs to be better. i don't mind 4-5-1 if we have pace in wide areas and a mobile player up top.
Nelson does worry me although today and on Saturday he was left exposed for parts of the game. Hatton wants to come inside and does leave that flank exposed. We watched a bloke run 70 yards down that wing in the first half, cut inside and hit the post. We then watch the same player in the second half run 40 yards, cut inside and this time find the goal?! Quite ironic that we went 93 minutes hardly making a tackle and then made a stupid one in the 94th minute. Had he been stronger at Oxford he might also have prevented the first penalty that was conceded.
I have faith in MG and DM to put this right and make changes if necessary and to say it is worse than Brown or TTA after two games is just ridiculous. We have no points from two games but that doesn't mean relegation folks. Hungerford and Weston are 100% after two games - that doesn't mean that they are getting promoted either does it....?!
I was expecting a more daming post Wingnut. Puosu.... Is that a Pokemon?
Too early to start bashing them....yet!
Just listened to Slabber's interview on Wings TV. The bloke talked a lot of sense, was quite critical of the team (and himself) and what it takes to do well at this level of football.

I agree, Wingnut. Thoroughly p*ssed off yesterday evening, but it is just two matches in and I am sure that MG and DM will sort it. The problem is that the low attendances we get this time of the year (holidays etc) will dip still further if performances on the pitch are not rectified soon. Then it is a downnward spiral on and off the pitch causing revenue problems and, consequently, the lack of wherewithal to sort anything.
Good point about attendances, people need to get back into the habit of supporting and poor performances will only dampen that essential enthusiasm. What is positive at the moment is that I believe that all the players want to be here and want to be successful. So, like others, I'll continue to give them the benefit of a few more matches before getting too critical. It's just a case of keeping the faith! Fingers crossed for a more coordinated performance on Saturday.
I didn't think we were that bad and thought that a draw would've been a fair result between two fairly average teams, which could've been better especially if the referee had looked at a couple of their tackles differently.
However, here's some good news.....we're still unbeaten at half-time!
What are you on Statto, what ever it is give it to the players, last night match is the worst I've see in the last four years. BS get 4/5 corners and every Wellingplayer is inside the 18 yard box, Welling get corners and they leave 2 up forcing us to drop 3 back for cover. Pathetic

But we did score from one of those corners didn't we?
I know what you're saying, but I'm just trying to be positive, otherwise we're doomed already if we're playing a team who's unbeaten and 2nd in the table on Saturday!
PS I'm only on a little something I got from this Russian chap...!
Apologies for dragging this forgettable match to the top of the menus, but can anyone tell me why the highlight (lowlights?!) are missing from WingsTV ? All other matches are there ?
