Lost 2-1.Not good enough. Attendance 451 and likely to fall further at this rate.
We lost 2-0. I've no Idea how the official attendance was as high as 451. To me it looked like no more than 300.
Bright for the first five minutes but then deteriorated rapidly from there. Some glimpses of inidividual flare but they simply don't play as a team. No communication and a catalogue of school boy errors.
Very frustrating afternoon. Weston attacked down our right with success.Nelson had no help but is not looking good. Central midfield kept giving the ball away, if only there was another central midfielder who could have played today.....
I have no problem losing a game, as long as we have put in a decent shift, and im not sure that could be said today. However the low point for me is when Dan Walker had the ball, went on a run to see his fellow team mates casually strolling into the box. They ahould have been busting a gut to get in the box, and that attitude is disgraceful. Not good enough at any level of football, let alone this.
On the plus side I though Dan Walker looked impressive today. Creative, and was always looking to make something happen.

A **** bunch of overpaid Ryman League standard players trying to resemble a team. Too many individuals, no team work or game plan.
Was that a centre back playing centre midfield second half. WTF. 3 losses to bottom half dross as well (based on last season's standings). Not even played anybody decent yet.
I'll tell you the players than need moving on. ****ing all them. Useless ****s. The keeper is alright I think. Rest of them can **** off.poor management to think Ryman League also means could cut it at this level.

Agree entirely Polo, the Dan Walker event you mentioned was typical, no desire, effort or belief. This could be interpreted as no motivation from MG? After all the friendlies and 3 real matches, I don't think the excuse of it being a new team can carry on being used. They need to be motivated to play not only as a team but also for each other, running to support / cover, not standing and waiting for the ball to come their way.
There were a few individual signs of quality but far too few, as for their first goal, absolutely no excuse.
But I'll be there again next week, after all I've paid for the season ticket!!
Absolutely no progress showing at all. Since Jamie Day left we've just been clueless. Our best performance in that period was a 2-2 draw at Alferton IMO. That day we showed character. I've not seen much character since sadly. On this seasons performance we wouldn't beat most Ryman teams. Very very very depressing.
The mark of a true fan are those who stay through the club through thick and thin. Having watched Welling since the mid 90's if it was about the football I would have given up a lot time ago.
Don't be a fickle fan. Support your team.

We could get relegated 2 or 3 leagues and i would still be there supporting my team. If you can't support your team then good riddance to those supporters. No one is forcing you to watch.

Having just watched the post match interview with Mark Goldberg, unlike post match interviews under the Three Amigos and Brown, it was somewhat refreshing and to an extent reassuring to see him not sugar coat his analysis.
It's been implied that tea cups were thrown in the dressing room after the game and that a number of players have been told to pull their fingers out or there will be "changes."
Still need three points sooner rather than later though otherwise the players will be out the door due to low gate receipts.
